Nina Ricci S/S 2008 : Karlie Kloss and Courtney Smerski by Mario Sorrenti

i threw up in my mouth a little after seeing these.

I wasn't joking though! I reworded the theme from something he has actually said.

I really like these ads.
The clothes overshadow the models which is just great for me, since I don't find them particularly interesting.

haha oops :(

Yes I agree that Karlie looks like she is trying a little too hard and maybe that is where that unusual walk of hers is coming from. She does know how to do intense staredown though! She is still only 15 so she has time to mature if she is not overexposed too early. IMO these ads of Courtney and Karlie look fresh and new compared to some of the same 'ole same 'ole we've been seeing. I am sure this will kick Courtney's career exposure into overdrive. I also heard Mario shot Courtney for Italian Vogue after this as well... Does anyone know when it is coming out?

I am not feeling it.. It's too messy :ninja: Too many things going on in each pic. That's just my opinion.

I loved the collection and this campaign is just as great - Karlie is definitely working them! Much better than last season

ah I like it, both models look very good, and I especially like the purple colour the've used, very appropriate.

i dont like the models but the ads themselves are superb..
the styling is gorgeous..

I think Olivier had girls who come home from a rave at 4 am as a theme for the collection and these ads totally capture that idea.
4 am? pretty early 4 party-girls which could be the theme for that collection. i think that`s on sunday evening after 48 hours of party time)

 That isn't impossible. But you know, Olivier is probably too delicate to set too much of a bad example.

Now here's the quote...
The 30-year-old designer said his slim leather jackets and strapless evening gowns were based on the idea of young women walking home at dawn from a rave party or black-tie ball.

oh i think its more black-tie ball but not rave, Olivier is really too delicate to show rave girls
