if tyra banks was really doing the magazine covers without retouching for the idea of breaking, "perfect beauty", she would nix the makeup, the hair, the posing, the lighting, and the outfits and expose herself as a regular gal just getting around from day to day.

I hate Tyra, but I like the idea.

Let's actually see her on a cover, doing this though.

It's just a FIRST STEP.

Next would be, no makeup, no extensions.

I'd much easier say "Don't put makeup on me" then "Don't retouch me." Makeup, that's stupid, why would you need makeup on the cover? I never wear makeup but I'd prefer the retouching!

urmm okay...so should they take away lighting too, maybe just light her with a fluroscent bulb. and right, she's going to enhance her natural beauty with make-up and hair extensions...maybe she acts reallly really stupid to be funny, or is her large forehead purely for decorative purposes...maybe she's really a highly evolved orangutan!

It's a really nice idea, really... but, the thing is.. the magazines don't want something natural staring out at people... they want to sell magazines.. and they'll go to any length to do it.

...Then again, they could sell the magazine by having the words "TYRA NOT RETOUCHED" plastered to the front.

my thing is....why??? It's part of the business! The reality is these girls and women should have sense to know that every photo is retouched and that these models and celebs don't really look like that.
