The new NAP look book has a "Red Mini Novak" (looks like some exotic leather) and a "Black Mini Novak" (with gorgeous gold dragons over a globe thing). These are amazing. I don't have a colour scanner, but I'll try to photograph the page and post later.

i stopped by mcqueen today and saw a barage of bags. yum. there was one that i loved sooo much which apparently has no name. it's got a huge matte gold loop on top that was like the top of a bracelet bag but bigger and fits on the shoulder. the bag was a tan/camel color, and had beautiful art nouveau leather details on a silk paper effect leather. sounds crazy, i know but soooooo gorgeous.

i tried on the cognac, blue, and stone colored ostrich novaks--both blue and cognac were gorgeous. but esp. the blue. it was such a gorgeous neutral color. the red crochet novak looked slightly better in person, but i guess that is not saying much.

ooohh, i also tried on the black python novak. i loved the picture of it, but IRL i like it just okay. the picture was just toooo gorgeous. the python seemed a little delicate, and the surprising thing was the black calf that made up the body of the bag was actually a different black leather than the black novak. it was somehow not as polished and had a stamped effect....well, it would be harder to see a scratch for sure.

I have the woven leather camel small novak from NAP, but it doesn't have the mcqueen logo on the turn clasp, is this normal? There is one on this picture I found on ebay. Could it be because mine is a 2006 one, and the one on the picture is 2005?
