NYC: Best location of the many chain stores

Hi All-

Am new to NYC and tend to hit the chain stores (Gap, BR, H&M, Zara, JCrew, etc.) that are closest to my office and/or apartment. But, as with many stores, I know that different locations offer different items. I've heard that there is one BR in the city that is like the flagship store - they supposedly have the entire line for the current season. I'm wondering about JCrew - is there one store location that rules over the others?
