As nerdy as this sounds I am in love with the fonts on this cover.

well i don't mind nicole, but she looks bad on this cover. so it cancels itself out . nylon must be featuring mainstream celebrities to sell more issues, which is sad because they are jepardising (sp?) their creative integrity

haha, what i love about nylon is how, around this time last year, they were flaunting their cover stars as "special" and "unique" compared to the starlets that grace other mags and weeklies. now their cover stars are the people they implicitly put down as random and forgettable

i also love the sort of epic-ness of their articles. you'd think that amber tamblyn and taryn manning and lydia hearst were all bound for super greatness, and they've kind of let it all go to create even more hype around nicole and lindsay and the sort

there is a preview of the article and shoot in US Weekly. In the picture shes wearing an oversized studded leather jacket thats off the shoulders, a tank top with a criss cross pattern on it and a ton of necklaces. It looks really bad.

the article excerpts are what you'd expect her to say. nothing new. maybe the entire interview will be better

I liked Nicole when she started dressing a little classier right after she parted ways with Paris but she's lost my interest since shes gone back to her bohemien (sp?) style again- not that there's anything wrong with that style, its just not my thing. She is hilarious though but I dont know. I dont even care about Nylon anymore. I guess with all the crappy covers and content I've gotten used to them sucking.

Anyway I heard they're going to be strictly an online mag pretty soon. losing readers I wonder? shocker.

Wow, that's drastic. I thought their implementation of "mainstream" star covers would rake in more readers, so it's surprising that they would stop publishing in print.

I got my issue today. There really isn't anything that interesting in it (minus the DIY jeans to dress feature), and the Nicole Richie pictures are terrible.
