I had to stop watching that video out of second-hand embarrassment. Olivia's beauty is causing people to want more of her than what she is capable. They want her to be a great model and spokesperson but she isn't. Nothing about her is natural. Her mouth moves so awkwardly when she speaks and I found it distracting.

You make a valid point; I think people do tend to expect certain things from her that, at the end of the day, she just may not be capable of. She is stunning, and her style was flawless for years. It is a shame she seems to lack the personality/appeal to really make something of it.

I agree with the above posters, particularly themightlysloane. Honestly, I find Olivia just generally kind of a dim girl. She comes off as very haughty and cold which goes a long way for obscuring a mere lack of wits. She doesn't have a positive presence whatsoever. She's so lovely to look at but as a marketing personality she makes me wince.

Even in motion in that dancing video, she still looks so self conscious. That interview says she noticibely relaxes when Johannes about, but she doesn't seem relaxed at all.

And that Piperlime one, with each passing second of hearing her speak, a little bit of me died inside. Talk about cringe; it's like she can't think of anything to say about any of it, it doesn't flow and it's so disengaging.

Im trying to find a way to say i think he is gay, but i cant word it subtly. lol. I think they are using each other - but thats fine bc it gives her a cute model bf and she doesnt really strike me as the type to be that bothered by guys anyway. I think she is just concentrating on her career.

It's interesting that Olivia has never covered a major magazine here in the U.S. and probably never will. She is just not that well-known here outside of fashion circles and lacks the talent and likeability factor to sell covers. Abroad it seems the standard for cover-worthy stars is lower.
