Once Upon A Time

I've read on IMDB's episode list that the upcoming episode after Ruby's "Child of the Moon" is called "Into the Deep." It could be the Little Mermaid.

^There are many other actresses who have both :P

Really? Who? Mention a name and I'm sure someone somewhere will disagree. Because you know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And actually, I think there are far more actresses in Hollywood who have only beauty and not acting skills.

I don't expect any humans to look like Barbie so why would I expect anyone to look like Disney cartoons? :innocent:

^Because Disney princesses are fictional characters who base their whole appeal on their looks. They are unrealistic standards, but that's the truth. Secondly, you talk about acting skills like OUAT is a Haneke film or sth. It's a friggin' tv show about fairytales, I don't think it requires the best acting chops in the business to play a fairytale character. This last page alone argues about the wooden skills of many of its protagonists. A model played the Huntsman with bigger success than Jennifer Morrison does, imo. I used to hate Ginnifer Goodwin but in OUAT it's the first time she doesn't annoy me and actually impresses me.
But since you asked, here are some tv actresses examples who would be better for me as Belle and Sleeping beauty.
Belle: Evangeline Lilly, Alexis Bledel, Mandy Moore
Sleeping Beauty: Laura Prepon, Britt Robertson, Riley Keough

And last thing, I never said the actreses playing these characters were ugly or sth, but they look pretty basic to me for someone that has to play Belle and Sleeping Beauty, for god's sake! :D
That's it, no more from me on the subject!

The one thing I did like about Aurora is that they made her bratty and bitchy...which is expected. She's not the selfless princess by any means, which is interesting. In the Disney movie, she's the least developed princess...ever!

You admit they are unrealistic standards, yet you still expect the show to live up to them? It's exactly because the show has too much crappy acting than we don't need any models who can't act. Jennifer Morrison is pretty wooden, but lmao so was Jamie Dornan. Your list only tells me exactly what I've saying. Clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder....

I'm sorry, could you elaborate on what makes Aurora bratty and bitchy? That's not how I read her. At all.

Everything about her is hilariously selfish and bitchy from the start! This last ep, she garnered some sympathy, but previous ones, not so much...but I don't think it's in a bad way. It's as funny as when Snow reenacted that scene where she's sweeping up the Dwarves house and tries to kill the birds.

But what is it that she has done that is selfish? Telling Phillip not to come look for her? Telling him not to die for them? Telling Snow and Emma that she wants to help them find a way back to Storybrooke? Telling them that she should climb the beanstalk because she has no loved ones left?

Aurora doesn't seem bitchy to me. I just find her underused. She and Mulan just follow for the moment. I hope they will get a proper story. At the moment Mulan scowls a lot, and Aurora is bland and useless. They are pretty but they need development.

I stopped watching season 1 when the huntsman died, because I was not invested enough to check the show again after that even though I liked the show. I started to watch again because I saw that they had Hook. Peter Pan is one of my favorite story. I like Hook. He has a lot of charisma but I'm not sure about his story on the show. I don't like what they did with Rumple. I'm afraid they ruined Peter Pan, and Hook is really different than the Hook in the book. Hook is a treat to watch so I don't complain too much but I hope his story in the show will live up to his charisma.

The writers said we will not see Neverland or Peter Pan, this season at least.

:(

I hope we will see more characters from Neverland then. We have not seen Alice from Wonderland yet but we have seen some characters from there, so maybe I can hope for more than Hook and Smee. I'm really curious about what they will do with Peter and the Lost boys. I felt like Hook didn't hate them when he talked about them. Maybe the writers will totally change the relationship between Hook and Peter, and the Lost boys.

Here are the sneak peeks for tomorrow's episode!

Love Charming in the first one! Also, it's cool to know more about Red.

Last night's episode was great. I can't share my thoughts on this episode 'cause I need to sleep early. So, I'll leave you with a promo for the next episode two weeks from now. Bummer.:(

Zombies?

I didn't like the last episode that much. Some parts were good but some parts not so. I didn't really care for Charming. I wish the episode had been focused on Red more.

I enjoyed last night's ep a lot. The writer's keep piling on the pain for Red--first she killed her boyfriend and ate him then she killed her mom! Talk about someone who needs a happy ending! Also, Megan Ory hits more than she misses as an actress, so that's good. I thought the development with the "dream communication" was good as well-- Emma and Snow seemed very startled that Aurora met Henry. And King George became even more dispicable! It looks like Emma and Snow will have to get themselves home--and I have a hunch they will soon.

I'm really resisting the urge to stream this weeks episode since the next one isn't going to be on until the 24th. Same with Revenge as well.

^^ Totally got the date wrong there. That's what happens when one is tired. Oops.

^It was a terrible episode anyway. And Meghan is still a bad actress, sorry to say. But at least she is beautiful, that should satisfy some people
