Once Upon A Time

I was so mad last night... I was like I totally called that August was Mr. Gold's son! Unfortunately I forgot about Pinocchio! Hence the lying and making it seem like he's Mr. Golds son. Although it still leaves some unanswered questions, how did he "arrive to town" and no one know who he is? If he's a fairytale character then wouldn't someone in the town recognize him? I definitely sympathize with August a little bit... because of his illness. Of course they are going to kill off all the good characters.

^My thoughts are... Maybe, they had to rewrite the plot because everyone else guessed the same thing.

I think the whole August thing will make much more sense after we see next week's ep. I feel like the writers are leading up to something MONUMENTAL with the season finale--August will obviously be a part of that. I highly doubt they are going to kill him. I did love finally learning what happened to make Mr. Gold hate the fairies and it's also clearer now why he let go of Belle even though he loved her.

I just adore the writers for setting up so much emotional investment in a happy ending for all these characters, except Regina. I know they'll eventually give the viewers exactly that and I will wait for it, maybe impatiently at times, but I will wait and enjoy every episode until then.

Sneak peeks for tomorrow's ep!

The Pinocchio story looks like a SWEET father/son one, and LOVE Snow coming out in Mary Margaret in that last one! (I won't even comment on the first one except to say, be prepared to be shot down, Regina!)

I CAN'T WAIT for these last three episodes of the season!! Scenes from the final two eps of the season keep popping up briefly in promos and I am VERY excited and VERY nervous! Given what they show, I hope the scenes are real and am worried they are not!

^Yes, I saw a tiny clip in one of the promos where Emma was wielding a sword...
And August is definitely a fairytale character because he was saying "Only you can save us" to Emma.

This episode was so good! However, I didn't really get why Regina was trying to hit on David. It was kinda gross... hitting on her stepdaughter's husband. What was she trying to accomplish? But I really like the scenes between August and Emma! And it definitely revealed some interesting things. They mentioned that Emma was found by a boy before, right? I must have forgotten that until this episode. I thought the storyline with Pinocchio/August and his dad was so sweet. And it certain things about how Emma was found make way more sense now. Can't wait for the next two episodes. Emma's gotta believe by the end of the season! Writers of OUAT don't leave us hanging! ^_^

^True. But did she really think it was going to work? David already caused enough problems with his relationships with Mary Margaret and Katharine, why would he be so quick to jump into another relationship? And even though he and Mary Margaret aren't really speaking at the moment I still think he cares for her, so he wouldn't do something to screw things up even more so. That plot point just seemed a bit silly to me, that's all.

^I think the whole Regina thing was simply to show how desperate her character is getting...Gold is clearly not firmly on her side anymore, her staunch ally Sidney is behind bars at her behest, Henry believes she's evil and is insistent she is going to lose. She's must feel like she's running out of options. We all knew it wouldn't work.

I LOVED the Emma/August stuff--SUCH an amazing connection forged between them, and the scenes with August and Marco were so bittersweet as Marco doesn't know he's Gepetto and that August is Pinocchio.

ONLY TWO MORE EPS LEFT IN THE SEASON!! Yes, Emma BETTER believe soon. I get the feeling things are coming down to the wire. The promo for next week was amazing! Henry will stop her from leaving, but then something happens to him! I'm sure he'll be okay, but Snow biting the apple in the fairytale world will be an EPIC Snow/Charming episode, I just know it. And EVERYONE involved in the show--actors, writers, producers--say that the season finale is gigantic and one even said something like "everything you want to see happens", so I'm starting to think those brief clips I mentioned might be real! I will be cautiously optimistic until I see the ep. This show is just incredible.

I loved this episode. The story line between Emma and August ( and with Marco ) is so sweet, I'm glad we finally know who he is. I was hoping Emma would believe, she really needs to, hopefully in these last two episodes.

Regina's getting so desperate, hitting on David was cringe worthy.

The ending! Next week's episode is going to be good! Emma can't leave storybrooke with Henry!

That was an emotional episode! The kid who played Pinocchio was so, so good! I wanted to cry in some scenes with him and Gepetto--and I totally forgot that it was Gepetto whose parents were turned into dolls. Great episode.

But I am feeling weary as the season finale approaches. I don't want a cop-out and I have feeling it may be unsatisfying.

This episode was a lot better than last week's. For Gipetto to bribe the Blue Ferry that he'll build the wardrobe only if Pinocchio gets to leave too, or no one does seemed wrong, but very understanding.

^I kinda love that Gipetto did that. Even though it was kinda wrong of him to do so, he was right in a way, Pinocchio probably wouldn't have existed in the other world if he didn't get transported before the curse took a hold. It also shows how powerful and important a parents love for a child is. Also, I never would have suspected that someone else besides Emma was transported in the magical tree, so that was good twist.

The sneak peeks for tomorrow's ep;

These look amazing! The fairy army is cool and I'm thinking Regina is lying in the last one. We'll see, though.

Last nights episode was good!

-I liked how the episode started with Regina's dream... Everyone taking down the Evil Queen.
-The fairy army made me laugh. It sounded like a swarm of bees was coming.
-Snow White eats the apple to save her Prince Charming. Snow is far too pure of heart for believing that the Evil Queen would keep her word.
-The episode ended with Henry trying to prove his point to Emma by eating the pastry with the poison apples in it.

I wonder if something bad is really happening to Henry. Regina didn't intend for anyone but Emma to eat it. BUT she did tell Mr.Gold that she was using the apples, because she knew they would definitely get rid of Emma for good.

^Last night was a FANTASTIC ep! I think that ending was meant to keep us hanging on, but I have SERIOUS doubts that the writers would kill the kid. Henry is such an active and positive character too. I think Henry will almost die and Emma will kiss him, waking him up, which will FINALLY make her believe in the curse. We'll find out next week! It was great to see the Mad Hatter again too.

I also, of course, adored the Snow/Charming stuff in this ep, especially when Charming was also in pain when Snow bit the apple. I think next week is going to be HUGE for them--and in terms of story in general. That promo didn't even show all the guest stars we know are in the ep! I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT to see what happens!

Here are the sneak peeks for Sunday's finale!!

These are not enough! The first one is SO touching! And who wants to bet it's the Huntsman helping Charming in that last one? ;)

Also, in expected but still awesome news, the show has been renewed for a second season!!

^I'm so glad that the show has been renewed for a second season, even though I was expecting it. :p

I can't wait until tomorrow nights finale! :woot:
