Hi - has anyone in the USA every ordered from mytheresa.com? Boots that I want are actually cheaper even with the exchange rate (about $200 cheaper), but I'm afraid the customs fees and taxes will be astronomical. The boots will come out to about $650 via mytheresa, at Barneys they'll be almost $900 with NY tax. Will customs fees be more than $200?

Yes, I have. I like that site very much. I ordered two things with my credit card and it they were delivered the next day by FedEx (so, from Sweden to The Netherlands in just one day).

No, but I know people who did and everything went fine. They actually have a "real" store in Malmö, Sweden as well if that increases the trust.

The site has so many great items but I don't know whether it is trustworthy and if the quality is any good.

I bought about 5-6 six items from them a little over a year ago. First, one of the items I wanted was out of stock and on back order or something, and even though I'd already paid for my order, they didn't send it out for about a month. At which point I complained and asked for a refund. They declined (and gave me a 5% off coupon instead, which was valid for two months only), but at least finally sent out my package. And to top off an already unpleasant experience, the package of course got stuck in the customs and I had to pay duty on it...

As for the items, they seem nice and cute in the pictures, but were actually quite cheap looking and not of very high quality, to put it mildly...

My overall verdict:

Just clothing, I was tempted by some shoes, but I don't really like buying footwear online since they really need to be tried on and returning stuff internationally is such a hassle.
