shopping search engines/social shopping websites?

Do any of you use specialized shopping search engines or social shopping websites (e.g. stylehive, stylefeeder, shopwiki, etc.)? Do you have favorites?

I have an update on YesStyle.com. I made my first purchase from them and it went very well. I bought 2 skirts, a plaid mini and a grey wool mini. They are both the Romy brand. First of all, with shipping costs it was under $80. and I received them in one business day, from Hong Kong and I'm in the US, California. The quality seems good to me, I'd say better than things I've bought at H&M or other comparable stores, for the same price range. When I bought them online, it said shipping would be express, but would take 3 days, so I was pleasantly surprised to get it in one day. I'll be shopping there again. :D

To elaborate more on Yesstyle, I also have made a purchase from the site. It took about a week to arrive which wasn't too bad, however when I received it, the quality overall wasn't as great as I had expected. The buttons on the cropped peacoat were extremely loose and eventually 2 of the 5 buttons fell off and had to be sewn back on. Also the stitching was poorly done on the sleeve area.

I can't really say much about the quality of other items on that site since I only purchased one item at the time. However, as many have already mentioned the site does carry some appealing items but I would strongly suggest doing some research before you jump in and purchase something.

Quality as mentioned wasn't great so take that into consideration.

As for other great online shopping sites I recommend:

Zozo.jp ( Great site from Japan, abundance of clothes to choose from. Brands from A.P.C. to April 77, etc. Only issue is that you need a japanese proxy to ship the items for you) 9/10

Gravitypope.com ( Solid selection of men's and women's shoes from a variety of different brand names) 8/10

http://www.shopfatal.com/ ( I have yet to really dig deep into the selection, however great brands from Bernard Willhelm, Henrik vibskov, etc) 9/10

Not sure if these were already mentioned but whatever lol:

Has anyone ordered from Nordstrom.com before? Did they charge your card the same day as you ordered? I ordered my items at noon today and they still haven't charged my card. Also, are they fairly quick on shipping?

UGH! I got my shopbop order today in the mail - and two of the things that were 'final sale' are damaged - two necklaces that are clearly defective... I emailed them about this... anyone else have this problem with shopbop?!

^^ WOW that's horrible! I would just stay persistant. Keep calling them or email them everyday until you get a response. I had a similiar thing happen with a different company where very expensive earrings BROKE because they were GLUED (!!!!!) together! and at first the employee on the phone said they couldn't take them back (because of hygenic reasons) but i refused to give up and spoke to the supervisor until they decided to refund me the money. all i said was "if i had wanted cheap stuff i would've ordered from forever21" and that's what got her. good luck.

P.S. i believe shopbop has an online customer service chat. try that as well.

Ina, I've always had great experiences with Nordstroms online. I believe they charge, once they confirm it's ready to ship.

AllBusiness, thanks for your post. I'l check out some of those sites. As far as quality it can really be mixed with low priced items, but I believe you get what you paid for, in most instances. I've bought from Zara and some items were ruined after the first wash, others were fine. I bought brands like XOXO, where quality on some things were outstanding and mediocre on others. It's hit or miss online, but as long as you can return it you're ok.

I ordered a pair of YSL loafers at Matchesfashion on Nov 27th and i still don't have them. Apparently my parcel's somewhere in France and *I* have to call DHL in England to get more informations! I asked one of the person from the customer service to assist me as i'm not fluent in english and i could need some help but i still don't have any answer !
