I was wondering whether anyone uses the big wardrobe website for swapping clothes. I have heard they are just introducing fees and wondered whether anyone knew what they would be or had any thoughs on whether it would be worth paying for.

I've heard that people have had negative experiences shopping with Browns... regardless I decided to place an order with them.

I bought a pair of shoes and after not hearing anything from them after placing my order for a couple of days, I asked if it had been shipped... they said they were missing some of my info in order to complete the transaction. I was puzzled seeing as I had given shipping info, credit card, etc... and my card had already been charged for the amount.

I offered to give them the missing info and they did not respond.
I asked again and they said that my card had actually not been charged yet and my order had been "aborted".... upon asking why they sent me this:

Thank you for your message.
At this current moment we are experiencing a slight delay in responding to customer enquiries due to adverse weather conditions.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused and emails will be dealt with on a first come, first serve basis.

oh!! I was not aware that the adverse weather conditions slowed down emails as well...

Could not agree more ; at least they have reasonable customer service. I hate unreasonable retail mark up! I wish I had direct-connect to the factories in India or China that produce all the goods for fast-fashion chains, that way I could get the same quality (or lack there of) for what it's worth... a few cents to about $5USD.

browns pulls this or something like it all the time. if i dont receive an email with the dhl notice within a couple of days i know its not coming and will be receiving an excuse email soon.
