This is probably the biggest trend of the season. It was featured on so many runway shows and continues to go strong after a few seasons.

It can be worn with nearly anything that shows off a bit of leg and instantly gives it a more urban/cool vibe.

black opaque tights have always been my thing. my legs are too white and i hate fake tanning AND they are really slimming. genius.

They are my winter staple! A great way to wear skirts in winter when its too cold for bare legs. Plus they're slimming and hide less than perfect pins!

Two words to describe how I feel aboutt this trend: cheap AND chic.

they're definitely considered trendy now but like kim says..it's just a classic, once young people stops wearing them, it'll go back to be an office look. it's hard to see this as a future prospect for trashiness because tights tend to be a basic cold staple at the very end. it's not like leggings, we all saw the nightmare coming in simply because they never had much use other than compliment an outfit..and in a rather tricky way.

When it comes to tights or leggings. Black opaque tights (and a pair of blue opaque ones) are the only ones I'm wearing
I don't like tights transparent, never have...

excellent thread and an amazing trend for second winter around

i'm certainly keeping my black opaques and maybe also bringing in some 'fresh' fake blacks, like the darkest blue or purple or wine.. vintage Biba colours
