Opaque Black Tights F/W 06.07

I continue to love opaque tights, black included.

since i like to wear dresses and skirts..even in the winter..i have to wear tights..black is my favorite for obvious reason

love em. although finding the right pair can be a tricky business, some look too shiney, even the velvet opaques in certain lights. any suggestions?

Obviously this look is going to be immensely popular...stores like urban outfitters and Anthropologie have already started stocking tights, not just in black, but also of the textured variety and in other colours.

I plan to be wearing them with my sweater dresses this fall.
I think interesting hoisery is one of the most fun things for fall, and which I can indulge in now, since I have moved to CA.
Just waiting for the lovely fall weather to start....

Spanx.com also sells some reversible tights with a "tummy-triming" effect..great for some of my more form-fitting sweater dresses!

I love this look Love it but I think is too overused now (in the places that are cold) and we aren't in winter yet..so it will took every woman legs soon ..just like leggings and this could turn to get a bit boring...

i think they are a classic but right now they are a trend because of the layered look for fw 06.

I love these .. they make my fat leggs look slimmer so its good with me ... I wear them quite alot they are a must in cold british winters.

I never really bought into this trend last winter as id only left school a few month previous ..and these tights just remind me of school uniform .. but this year now ive left school over a year ago i think i might try it.

I've always worn them and I will wear them this winter as well (actually I'm wearing them right now )... I didn't even think about them as a trend yet, they are just so practical and beautiful at the same time...

Absolutely love them!! I haven't wear any other kind of tights for 2 years. My legs are really white and they look much better with opaques. I want the weather to get a bit colder only to wear them, I feel like naked now with my short dresses if I don't pair it with my opaques.

I wear mainly black ones, but the dark purple is also really appealing.

^I have the same problem!! Does anyone know any kids that aren'y shiney and that are completely opaque?

carrying over from last year? I really love the look - I'm trying to find a pair that's lower waisted so it'll be more comfortable.
