The reason why Chanel and Givenchy aren't on there yet is probably because they are on Tuesday, and that hasn't been released yet. But I'm excited to see all the talent. Haute Couture week is one of my favourite weeks of the year.

YES! I'm excited for what John Galliano will do for Dior this year, that's the main haute couture show I enjoy watching above any other. He has such a brilliant mind for shows like 2004 F/W 2004 with Mae West influence. I loved the origami-look of his S/S 2007 show that was inspired by Pinkerton's affair, and it's as though he pulls aspects of all of the litterature and vaudeville ideas that are floating around in the world and puts them into beautiful artwork. I roll my eyes when people dislike the wearability, because it's not meant for that and if any wearability comes into play, it would be the honor of having a homage to every beautiful aspect of art and being able to wear it. Lacroix is a favorite of mine as well, and I enjoy the beauty of the most interesting fashion shows.

^^^ I agree with Squizree. I'm not a huge fan of Chanel or Armani because, in my opinion, it seems bland and lackluster quite a few times in comparison to the theatrical view of Dior shows. I have to admit though, Chanel has surprised me by far this past season at Resort, and Armani just tends to not bode so well with me. To each their own, Haute Couture is always something a cast a keen eye for.

^Its not that I hate Chanel or anything, but every bloody season Karl does the same thing over and over again. He needs to let go of his cute and innocent girl ideology, we need to see something different.

^^I always like Chanel Haute Couture better than Chanel RTW, and I have a few favorite Chanel Haute Couture shows, however, I agree with you that I'd like to see Karl take Chanel into a more...I don't even think I myself know where I want him to take it...I just want him to do something different. Granted, I don't want him to erase everything that is Karl or Chanel, but I am ready for something more than, as you aptly called it, a "cute and innocent girl ideology."

I just can't wait for Dior...this one ALWAYS gets me so anxious! Just thinking about what John will do next makes my head spin! I am so excited! All I can do is cross my fingers that the collection will be shown on a mirrored runway and that Healy will do an awesome soundtrack!

I can't wait for Gaultier. To be honest, Gaultier never really was one of my favorites, even now, looking back on some of his older collections, they just simply aren't my favorite. However, since RTW SS 06, I just can't get enough of Gaultier! I especially love Haute Couture SS 07 and FW 07!

I am super excited for Givenchy. Riccardo is a couture master. He, like Lacroix, simply excels creatively in Haute Couture, far more than they do in RTW. Couture just suits them better!

And of course, can't wait for Lacroix. I'm never as excited for Lacroix as I am for, say, Dior...but when I finally see the Lacroix collection, I can often end up loving it more than the Dior!
