^MMM's will be a showroom presentation rather than a runway show. (Suprised that they're going to keep doing the artisanal collection, even after the big "MM's not here" reveal) And I'm not sure if Cavalli's new line ever was supposed to be officially haute couture, but just a very expensive made-to-measure/customizable service. But if my memory serves right, a few dresses were shown last season.

MMM dont present the collection in a runway setting its usually just a showroom presentation

Cavalli is doing 'Couture' for his clients but i doubt he will do official couture with a presentation

VPL your so right , couture season won't be the same without lacroix but i expect he has plans to return to couture ASAP *Fingers Crossed*

I got so excited I almost made a sick!
I am ready for new haute couture! I am ready for Givenchy and Chanel the most obviously. Dior ... it's uncertain.

Lacroix made couture week for me - the flamboyant display of colour, the sickeningly decadent proportions and embellishments, it was a a less sensible Dior Couture (and Dior Couture ain't sensible).
He introduced me to what I think couture should be - the unashamed display of talent and personality without compromise. Looking at that small list of names, only now I realise how much I shall sincerely miss him.

Though I love Chanel Couture, Lagerfeld believes couture should be extremely high quality ready-to-wear.. and having given up on Galliano completely I'm not expecting a single thing from him this time.

No Lacroix, Galliano has become really boooooring, Gaultier is not at his best, Valentino is just awful and I don't usually like Givenchy HC shows, so it won't be an amazing HC week.

Yeah, while that collection was not bad, it was not good either. It was just ...... boring clothes set to great music (loved the music)! I just wish for the real haute pieces from John Galliano. He's been producing imitations of haute couture recently ....
