this era is just suited to dior im my view.

^^I know! That's what I love about couture! You get straight to the good stuff, no waiting around for weeks until it gets to Pairs fashion week, like in RTW!

I'm with you, I really hope that Galliano won't repeat Dior's SS 08...

I for once would love to see a "wearable" couture collection from Dior, don´t get me wrong!!!, I adore John´s oh so inspiring creativity (and I know it always become wearable), but the idea of a striking toned down couture show seems like a very interesting, fresh idea, like what he did for summer 99 or so, great cuts, great embroideries, but in a more aproachable way, I will love to see lots of sensuality, bias cut silks, I don´t know, models prancing around water fonts..., in conclusion, less stiffness and much more fluidity.

I also can´t wait for Valentino, Chanel and all couturiers in general, since the schedule and participants are so few I think each and one of them has something to give to the week.
