I don't really think McQueen would do much differently if he were doing couture. His (runway) ready-to-wear already has a lot of custom-order only pieces that definitely have the intricacy of haute couture, and if he moved all of those to a different collection, his ready-to-wear shows would get awfully short--and boring.
yeah its weird.
but after all, prada stands for ultra luxury. and I think it would be something interesting, something new and innovative, a step forward for couture?
