Advice for pencil skirts

I am trying to find a pencil skirt but I have no hips and my figure is basically straight up and down. My legs are quite skinny and I'm a size 12-14. When I try on pencil skirts, although they can add to the hip area, I find at the hemline the width is usually too wide and the skirts don't hang well. Can anyone offer some advice on pencil or straight skirts for me please.

I agree, tailoring may be the way you want to go. Find a skirt that is the quality, fabric, color etc that you want and take it to your local tailor. It shouldn't be too costly.

I like 'em but not up for running hahaha... nah seriously depending on the style but they tend to be very classy and so 50s... like the tv serie Mad Men style.

I like pencil shirts with a bit of weight, just above the knee, with no belt loops. I'm having problems finding one online.. does anyone here have any recommendations

thanks
