Personal must-haves for Spring 09

At the moment, I only know I'll need more crumbled tees from Muji, a brown tweed jacket, another pair of black wool pants, tan sandals, the linen dress I always say I will find for summer, a straw fedora, a sequined jacket that this woman inspired me to get.. :ninja:

A pair of sandals... have not decided..K.Jacques or
Chloé

Dresses...

More jewellery..

Mulletproof
that is a gorgeous jacket, I hope you find one like it..

An elegant silky jumpsuit will be on me this spring, too!

They're just so comfortable! Unfortunately I think they'll be impossible after a while, it'll be inflation in jumpsuits!! On the bright side, most people will look like sausages in them....:innocent:

I really prefer the elegant jumsuit to the topshop-unique-kinda-jumpsuit.

more - on sale;)
Rupert Sanderson
Marc Jacobs
YSL - a bit strange
Rupert Sanderson - not sure

I'm in love with Stella McCartney's nude blazers and crisp short white strapless dresses! I also love Balmains whole collection of course (LOVE the military jackets/stonewash jeans) and Alexander Wang's denim shirts and platform shoes. Jenni Kayne had a nice collection as well as Chloe. And YSL Had this white goddess maxi-dress that is so gorgeous!

I'm still not in a mood for spring shopping but bought that Pucci dress from F/W sale and it will go very well into spring /browns/

i'm trying to limit what i buy but if i do buy anything i want it to be UNIQUE. :)

Nothing strikes me at the moment (which is very odd for me) I'm trying to shop my closet and pratice the art of layering pieces which you wouldn't think to layer.

Also trying to start wearing all my shoes...

I've finally bought an oversized "boyfriend's blazer", it will be a key piece in my wardrobe. The leather pants I'm waiting to get in the mail will also be used a lot. And I'm not giving up on my faux fur jackets, I have two short ones with 3/4 sleeves in white and black, which I will wear with long black leather gloves. Have to enjoy these trends while I still can, I bet I won't be caught dead in faux fur next fall!

Lose fitted jeans - more or so light washed and distressed. And reds seems to be my favorite color this coming spring.
Though Meadham Kirchhoff has been inspiring me to a simple enough black heel with an awesome pair of jeans, it's sleek but very relaxed all the same.

Ah but it's still so early (like the weather, -35 C out today ), March break should be my splurging of spring/summer wardrobe I'm hoping.

Dresses!
I defenitely need more of them...only have one or two, and hardly ever wear them (probably because I bought them 5 years ago :ninja:)

back to basics with a splash of color will be it for me this spring.

-loose tees in white, gray, black, nude, etc.
-black skinny leather jacket
-black or charcoal hip length blazer
-black skinny black pants
-thin merino v-neck sweaters
-then some crazy accessories - bright colors and prints in scarves/bags/shoes.

i can't even begin to think about clothes for spring with all the cold weather and snow and ice....

:ermm:...

i find this whole 'pre-order' thing completely ridiculous frankly...
at times clothes don't even make it to the sales floor because regular customers reserve them and buy them sight unseen...

i kind of hope the bad economy is going to change that a bit..

:innocent:

I love colourful heals especially electric blue i think they look amazing with a little black dress. I've always loved dresses and skirts for s/s and this s/s will be no different. I will have had my little girl by then so i can get back into the swing of things properly and not have to feel uncomfortable :).

i agree with many of you, simple essential clothing in combination with unique kinds of extravagant jewelry and accessoires (expecially the sequin style).. and of course - gotta love the colourful heels <3

Gosh...wish I had unlimited money! I've bought a few things for spring...mostly basic pieces...but I've been buying necklaces, bracelets, and scarves like crazy! I was pregnant last year at this time...so I could use a lot more...as my spring wardrobe is a tad outdated :)
I'm starting to think I may go a little shoe crazy this year too.

I think Im buying some (OK more than some *sigh*) spring clothes right now because Im going to the Bahamas at the end of the month with my best buds who either live in Nyc or Miami, so its always fun to buy new things for the trip. But it is such a tease bc I wont be able to really wear this stuff for another month or two..oh well, meh, Im livin in the moment.
