I don't toss anything designer - only some bad fitting clothes and shoes. I don't have any space anymore, and keep forgetting my new things - such a mess!

I've been looking for an appropriate thread for this but can't find it (wasn't there a "what to wear it with" thread?) Next month I'm attending a wedding, and bought an aqua blue chiffon gown from Calvin Klein (Spaghetti Straps,gatherer around the chest, and the rest is straight) I have an issue with accessories (please no silver shoes) I bought the CL T-strap pump in Navy patent leather-it looks okay but for the price it's a waist as I know I won't wear them again ($735 incl. tax) Do you think nude/bone patent leather would go with aqua blue? I'm looking at the Aldo shoes with the built in platform (slingbacks) they resemble the CL' Rolando's. I just have a dillema as far as the color goes.HELP

I got the most amazing coat recently..which is so in tune with my style right now..I can't wait for Fall to wear it.. and I have always had issues with coats, so this is exciting.
I have so many looks in my head..

I have yet to figure shoes out... I do see a lot of heels around but they are all starting to look the same...and since I can't get hold of a Givenchy pair which I would really like..
There just does not seem to be a worthy substitute for them..


I do new a pair of basic black leather flats.. Repetto? Chanel?

I was thinking about what you said re electric blue ... I was thinking that that's really a lot of color for anyone. I would try easing in via Nina Ricci colors ... subtle greys and those lovely violet-tinged, even tie-dyed, blues. Do you like degrade? I saw the coolest degrade grey pumps on a woman at the grocery store a couple days ago ...

Yes I did get them..and love them but they are patent and not basic black leather.. I have way too many patent shoes now.. But they are working great for me which is why I am thinking plain black leather.

I bought a degrade bag by Prada last season..as i thought it would be a neutral and therefore work.. it didn't.

But yes..I do like a lighter grey I have a pair of shorts in that colour...which I plan to wear on those 'too hot to wear anything nice' days.

I have realised I don't have enough tops in my wardrobe I want more than just plain one's... That's a whole new chapter..

i think it has to do with wearing shorts...that makes me feel really young...
and when i have the same dress as my asst, who is in her 20's...
that is worrying...

btw- i wound up buying one of the sandals that i suggested to you...
the patent ones with the knots...
and i LOVE them!...best bit...only $50!!!....ha!!!...woohoo!

I should just go to France and just get the bloody Repetto's in a 35.. they don't stock that size in the UK.. [big surprise]
They just look so good on the feet, very elegant.

I need more summer clothes but I have this feeling that is rather silly to think of as we are already in the new season now.

I have a few shorts now, which I need to buy TOPS for... but I would also like a really slouchy pair, I saw a Japanese girl in London she oozed of personal style it was so laid-back but also sexy loose shorts upper mid leg, semi sheer black tank, worn-in balenciaga olive bag worn by the strap and hair up..
..sheer perfection..

But I have no idea where to look for shorts like that..

^ I'm also looking for shorts, something loose as well. I hope you find something you like! It's just been getting so hot, it's hard to think of wearing anything but shorts. The girl you describe sounds cool.

For me, I've been dressing more and more like a little girl. Loose, boxy short sleeve and sleeveless tops in delicate mini florals and stripes. Just need the right shorts to complete my summer look.

i wear them with pretty much anything..
dresses...shorts...etc...
and i get compliments every single time i wear them...
they're great because they are elegant and chic...
but no one else has them and they are not an obvious brand or label where someone else will have them and other people will know exactly what they are, what season they are from and how much i paid for them...
i love that so much!...but i love them no matter what...

I'm going for Balmain and Givenchy mostly for fall.

Lots of chains, tight dresses, loose jackets, black and navy, long gloves, beanies and studs.
