^^^androgyny is timeless and always cool...:flower:...

i am thinking that my chloe wooden wedges are going to get a lot of action this season!...
yay~!

I crave structured, clean, androgynous clothes as well --you can pretty much nver get tired of them with the right accessories! But I tend to wear the exact opposite: loud and out there. xD Oh well.

i seem to have taken a GIANT leap backwards right smack into the 80's...

:ninja:...

*my god...
how did i get here...:glare:
*makes chopping motion like in the talking heads video*

I actually have quite a good feeling about this summer... I have decided to have fun ...make a few purchases that don't really seem like 'me' at first. Experiment a little.
YSL Kelly green loafers are in my wardrobe... electric blue shorts..

I also have a thin heather grey jersey scarf which I throw over different looks.. I should really get a drapey cardigan but this scarf.. is great.

I am going to wear skirts and perhaps shorts... I have a pair of black suede sandals with gold buckles, which I adore. In summer accessories count so much more..

I have also had a few things tailored.. at the moment I don't really have a clear image of what I 'need' but I saw some Prada flat gladiator sandals which I quite like, as gladiators are becoming a bit ubiquitous this season not sure if they are worth the extra ££.

There are these black patent flat sandals from A.p.c that I would LOVE to get my hands on..my name is written on them.

That's my plan too. Now that I'm out of school I can finally wear what I want without getting nasty comments all the time which can be so annoying.
And I don't have to worry about what my teachers might think of me anymore.
Another resolution I have is to get rid of all the things I don't like anymore (brown suede pumps, pointy brown suede boots  I bought them when I was 14).

Why don't you get the A.P.C. sandals?

They are not my size... and they are not on the apc website either... I want patent leathr..I think the ones on the apc website are just leather...and I don't think there is any chance of getting hold of them in a size 35 in the UK.

I would like to a new pair of jeans as well... but my size is again hard to get hold of!

oh, I see. Maybe the kids section has a similar pair?

I've been searching for a new pair of jeans for a few months now but I don't know what to buy...I'm sick of skinnys, I don't like wide-leg on me, bootcuts and straights are boring me and boyfriend jeans make me look 15 pounds heavier *sigh*
I just don't know which cut to choose.

My wardrobe consists of skirts and dresses atm, I have been taking a break from jeans for quite a while ;)
But I've decided that I need a pair because I'm riding my bike a lot and I don't feel too comfortable in a dress/skirt on it.
Although I wear very short shorts underneath some situations are just too revealing...

edit:
here's a picture of me, I just took it and my room is a mess so excuse the crappy cropping :ninja:
which jeans would you suggest?

I would go for a pair of skinny jeans... perhaps raw and super tight.. I actually want a raw pair myself... but I can't seem to locate any..

there really are so many jeans options out there at the moment... I actually quite like the idea of electric blue jeans my friend has a pair and they look fantastic on her..but I believe styling has a lot to do with it:ninja:

I really like these from Tusbi:

yeah...i agree..go with the skinnys...
they are back in a big bad way...
esp raw denim or black imo...

i've been wearing my black ones like crazy...

pucci- your grey jersey scarf sounds like an excellent thing...
wouldn't mind one meself...:p
love the sandals too..
but i have some prada's from 2003 that i still wear like crazy ..
if it's a gladiator and it's good...it won't go out of style even when the trendsters move on to the next 'big thing'...so i would say it's worth the investment...
:flower:

at the moment i am having footwear issues...
i wore a pair of high sandals the other day which tore up my left foot-
4 blisters on one foot!.........

so much pain...:(

ouch..! =( Are they designer or..?

Yes... I love the jersey scarf,..I picked it up at Zara..and now COS is doing it as well..I really had to restrain myself from not buying it as well.
It's like a huge shawl..really thin..

I'm in really two minds about the Prada vs. the apc.... I'd love your opinion..the Prada I would get in black..

Here they are but I would get them in black, they actually look better irl:

I agree about too many straps--it's also a unisex shoe, while the first one is not ...

' I loved aiming for the Marlene look'

I still love it! Marlene rocked big time! With me- sometimes it works and I'm actually happy with my Marlene interpretation, some days, when I can hardly remember my own name , works less but she's the ultimate fashion siren for me. I wish she was still around so I could stalk her with long fan letters or something...hmmmm...

I think timeless is in ones own view.. like patent leather... I always seem to buy it..others might see as trendy..if something works with one's personal style then it's great.

Thanks soft, but both of those are a bit too classic for me..there needs to be something a bit extra there..:flower:

Hmm.. perhaps I should keep looking. I have already bought 4 high street sandals so far in the season...
