Some more pictures from Joseph in Paris, which I don't think have been posted yet...

For the launch of the newly redesigned Joseph store on Avenue Montaigne we celebrated with a live acoustic set by Peter Doherty on Monday night of Paris Fashion Week.
Paris Fashion week gave us the perfect excuse to have a party with our French amis to launch the newly redesigned Avenue Montaigne store. Raed Abillama, the architect and design maverick behind London’s Westbourne Grove store, unveiled the store which, for one night only, doubled up as the perfect venue to house our party.
The store was emptied save for a solitary jewellery case that was filled with Peter’s vintage trinkets, union jacks and other ideas for his forthcoming jewellery collection. He is currently designing with Hannah Martin, rock and roll jewellery designer du jour, and is due to be launched at the end of the year.
Fashion weeks finest and Paris’s coolest joined us as Peter played 14 songs in front of a union jack backdrop, with his ballerinas pirouetting next to him. The store was laden with fashions crème de la crème cutting shapes on the dance floor, and holding court centra-stage was a very smiley Suzy Menkes dancing and snapping away next to Hilary Alexander. Behind them Margherita Missoni, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Eugenie Niarchos bopped to Can’t Stand Me Now, and Last of the English Roses as Lou Doillon swayed and smoked to his classics, For Lovers and What a Waster
The night didn’t stop there. Later the totally loveable/ super chic DJ , Misty Rabbit played as Alexander Wang, Peter Pilotto, Haider Ackermann and Jethro Cave danced amongst fashion editors and Parisian socialites.
Irina Lazareanu was last spotted singing Liza Minelli cabaret tunes as the sleek glass store doors swished close, bidding adieu to a most memorable evening.

Yes, I think longer hair suits him
He's face looks a lot better too... like he's healthier.
Aw, he's great.

^Well, his most interesting quality - being intelligent - was present. But I have to say that he's become a lot more attractive since that clip. Though he should control himself a bit, boring as it is.

wow, such a long time since I've been here now.
Not liking the long hair tho^^

BTW seeing much of the libertines lately? I'm so not up to date now..too much school and K-drama..much shame..

Libertines 'set to reform and will play at Reading and Leeds summer festivals'
on 29th March 2010

Indie band The Libertines - the act with which Peter Doherty first found fame - are set to announce a reunion to play summer festivals.
The act, which Doherty formed with Carl Barat, have continued to exert a fascination on music fans after falling apart in 2004.
They are said to be lined up for slots at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August, according to The Sun.

Reforming: Pete Doherty and Carl Barat of The Libertines :woot:

The band's debut album, Up The Bracket, was named the best British album of the past decade in a survey of musicians and music industry bigwigs by music magazine NME.
The quartet collapsed in 2004 when Barat fell out with his joint frontman because of Doherty's wayward behaviour as he battled with d**g problems.
They went on to play some shows without Doherty, to promote their second and final album, but soon called it a day.
Last year Doherty claimed the band had been offered millions of pounds to re-form for festivals.
He said they had been offered the chance to play last year's Reading/Leeds Festivals but the plan was eventually shelved because Barat was not happy with Doherty's 'energy levels'.
Doherty had even talked about going ahead with a reunion with bassist John Hassall and drummer Gary Powell even if Barat was unwilling to join.
'I wouldn't really want to, but you've got to pay the bills. I'll put an advert in the NME: "Carlos lookalike required",' he said at the time.
A spokeswoman for the festivals said the line-up for this year would not be confirmed until later today.

That's so random and unexpected, but we analyzed one of Pete's song (Salomé) in our French class.
