Well, I must say that Phoebe probably brought the house of Chloe' to another peak with the success that she has had with the accessories line. (Think the Paddingtons, Silveradoes, bracelet bags, shoes, etc).

I loved how despite whatever trends may be reigning for every season, there was always an underlying thread of prettiness and feminity in each of her collections. She definitely knew what every women wanted and this skill was sharpened season after season.

It's a little sad that she won't be designing for the A/W 06 collection but hey I am sure that the in-house design team will come up with something as they stood in for her for A/W05.

Whatever maybe, being with Chloe brought her a lot of credibility.
I am sure she will return somebody and that's what probably everyone wishes too!

but i have to agree with A/W 05. A season i think she will be remembered for and designers will return to in the future as inspiration - not that it was ground breaking persay but it just had that 'it' factor

i doubt that she's going to chanel. if she is, thought. i believe in her, really really do. she could even do couture, i think.

although, (if it is true) is it a major position or is she going to be in the creative team lead by king karl?

I highly doubt shes going to Chanel. Chanel or Karl himself has not hinted that he is quitting. If any anything, Karls full of ideas. I think Pheobe could work anywhere though.

Roland Mouret was spotted heading into the Chloé headquarters in London this morning, fueling further speculation that the designer will soon take over the reigns—at least temporarily—from Phoebe Philo, who announced her resignation from the French fashion house earlier this month. Vogue editor Anna Wintour is said to have been Mouret’s most powerful ally, having personally recommended Mouret to parent company Richemont, according to a source within the company. “I don’t think they [Chloé] think it’s a perfect fit, but it’s a solution,” the insider added.
