Pictures Of Your Magazine Collection

I'm considering going completely nuts and buying plastic bags for my magazines. Which type are the best?

I'm looking at what they offer at http://www.bagsunlimited.com

^ Great stuff! I had a hard time explaining to the guy and his wife that I share a mailbox with why I was getting so many ladies magazines every month...But then they saw my bookcases full of binders with ads and magazines and I guess it made sense...

Here's my tiny collection, it's almost nothing compared to most of you hehe ^_^ but it's growing

photos by me

^ :woot: I don't think there is any hope for me...They had the white bookcases I use on sale and I bought three- and I only needed one...put the other two aside in the closet; I know I'll need them...

After seeing your amazing collections i ve decided to start one. the problem is that i only buy VP cause it's the only one available in my country and buyin' on line it's not evident too so i have to just wait for my vp's. it 's gonna take too long before i get a worth respected collection !!

^Hyba: There's also L'Officiel Paris, Marie Claire, Elle France, Vogue Germany and sometimes Vogue Italia (at the Airport) :)

Does anyone have an opinion on 'comic bags' with cardboard 'backing boards' for magazines? I know comic book collectors who wouldn't think of not keeping their books in them, and Bags Unlimited (my go to source) has them for magazines I believe...Sounds sensible- you could handle them without touching the covers and keep moisture and all away from them...B)

I only keep clippings now due to space and I store them in those bags. I couldn´t find boards the size of a magazine though...
The bags are not just regular bags, they don´t have certain chemicals that damage paper and they keep uv light from yellowing it. I have comic books from over 15 years ago in this type of bags (+ boards) and they´re in perfect shape ^_^

I love this! And I especially admire how you've framed the vogue paris cover, cudos!

I am away at uni right now so my magazine collection is currently residing in bedroom back home or else I would take a picture for you. At last count though I have over 200 magazines and thats after collecting for about 5 years! I had way more but my mom made me get rid of some- it was heartbreaking. Most of my collection is US Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle, and then an assortment of other publications.

^ Great pictures everyone- thanks!! I look at my overflowing bookcases and I feel better knowing there are other people like 'us' out there! :flower:

My Collection.

I'm 14 (and for my birthday on the 14th November I'll buy my first Vogue Korea -a back Issue!-, Vogue China November 2006 -with lily-, Vogue Paris September 2007 -with Natasha Poly- and back Issues of Numéro France)
Yes I love Fashion Magazines.

At the moment...my Magazines:
