Pierre Hardy

OMG, these two are fantastic, but especially the second... :woot:

I'd like a pair to secretly try on at home... :shifty:

:brows:

^ Love the second ones, and a few others from the f/w 06 collection.

New to this thread (you can find me at the Louboutin thread), I'm surprised there is a Pierre Hardy thread (but not surprised to find Brian in it). I LOVE his shoes! But... have never been able to buy one. Also not sure but that he isn't sliding downhill in the eyes of the fashion industry (and therefore losing money) because it is getting MUCH harder to even find his shoes. Still, along with Alber Elbaz & Christian Louboutin he is the only shoe designer who READS MY SHOE DREAMS !!!! OOOOOH I LOVE HIS SHOES!!

^ i know deedee! but it's also kind of cool that his shoes are not as widely available as other labels, makes them seem more special.

but in addition to his own shoe line, pierre also designs the shoes for balenciaga and a line of jewellery for hermès. he's also expanding into handbags for his own line this fall.

some of my picks from pierre's f/w 06 collection..... :crush:

I am really loving the bags - it comes in a striped fabric too....

And the shoes too - can't enthuse enough about the shoes!

Brian >>> I love the black suede ankle strap heels. I love(d) about 10 of the styles from 2003 - 2005. WHERE can I avtually buy the black suede's ??? Please help because as U know I am ready to file for divorce from he who cannot be named here...

I can NOT find PH shoes at Net a Porter, Zappo couture, ikram, BG, NM, or Saks. I am not free to fly to Paris tomorrow. Mona Moore has only couple of styles. (I ADORED the green and beige d'orsays that Net a Porter had. By the time they were on sale, did not have my size oi vey

:woot:

I didn't even know we had this thread...

Anyway, here are some amazing ones from monamoore.com.

WHERE do I find the best PH styles ??? I have tried every online site I can find in google. None has the BEST PH's except aloha rag & their sizes don't go beyond 38.5

barneys. not sure if they have them on the website though.

^ they don't, but barneys does carry pierre.

i know for sure neiman-marcus in san francisco does as well.

BRIAN >>> I wonder if they have the DESIRABLE PH's. There is a new Barneys here in Boston. Think I'll be visiting them this Saturday. Check that. KNOW I'll be visiting. And thanking you for the great heads-up's.

P.S. The Barneys in NY carries Lanvin's. Wonder if the new Barneys here does. You know how Boston is a conservative fashion city. Alber is NOT a conservative designer, not at all. But we'll see

Hi Faust, nice to meet you... It's OK, I don't need to do Barneys website because there's now a BIG Barneys store in Boston. Will be visiting. Will let you know what I find! :innocent: :innocent: :innocent: :innocent:

PH for Balenciaga (Scuba Shoe s'06) is all over Ebay right now. Unfortunatley theyre priced at a ridiculous 999.00...even sadder is the fact that for the real world prouduction they shave a good 1 inch of the height of the heel. Now its just dead homely looking.
Does anyone have a source for the runway rigging shoes? Please let me know. Have to have!!!

Hi again Stillettophile... eBay up pricing, standard op these days... compromised heel height, also no surprise. Soon I'll have to start browsing the fetish heel shops except those shoes are made of plastic, I think

One of the best things about Pierre Hardy's shoes is the REALLY high arch. Quick comparison (to Nine West - Hardy pic from style, com, Nine West pioc from zappo, com):
