Pierre Hardy

One of the best things about Pierre Hardy's shoes is the REALLY high arch. Quick comparison (to Nine West - Hardy pic from style, com, Nine West pioc from zappo, com):
:woot:!! that's what i'm talkin' about!! :woot:

I'll add my vote to Brian's & Emery's. Going to Barneys here in Boston on Saturday. May spend my entire entry fee in next year's Poker World Championship..... oh well, Phil Ivey can have the championship and I can have the PH ;-)

I Loooove Pierre too. They have a decent women's range at On Pedder here in Hong Kong.
Love em.

On Pedder starting its own line of shoes & bags. Looks pretty chic to me!

With what I suppose we could call a little "Lanvin Pad" for a platform! Or did Pierre get there first?

both the lanvin and pierre shoes above are for spring 2006... i've seen the little 'lift' platform used elsewhere before though ^_^

i love that pierre shoe so much.... that arch!!

Oddly enough, a lot of clogs in a variety of price ranges have that same gloriously high arch: YSL, MiuMiu, and Michael Michael Kors (his lowest-price line) that I know of. Wonder if some nameless little East Asian place makes ALL the clog soles in the world?:ninja:

TY Brian ... Yes you're right, Dover Street Market has some of my fave PH's. But can't buy them online, and I am not flying 3000 miles to London to get them...

Emery >>> Lanvin had it first that I know of, the cork lift I mean. But of course Candies had it way way before...

*swoon* With an arch like that, I MUST own a pair of Pierre Hardy heels!

OK ALL >>>> this just in, direct from Deedee's on-the-ground, personal intelligence operative ("PIO"):

PIO went to the Barneys store in Boston this afternoon, on suggestion from D. Found HUGE shoe salon with entire portions dedicated to Louboutin; to Manolo; to Prada; to Dolce & Gabbana. assorted other designers were also on display. But NO Lanvins and NO PIerre Hardys. So much for my shopping trip tomorrow

^ but there's so much more in barneys! balenciaga and alaia rtw!

Oh, bummer - sorry to hear that. I'm pretty sure the nyc store has some - I've seen them before.

thanks Dee have seen their line in Singapore On Pedder only, not in Hong Kong for some reason. They did some nice boots for fall 05.. There is also a store called Pedder Red, which is their younger and cheaper shoe market. It's quite cool actually.

Hi Faust .... NYC probably has a lot, but I live 240 miles away and am just too busy to go there right now. I have shopped the Barneys flagship store, once, but I came away with 1 CL, 1 fab Alaia, and 1 Tondowski. This was before they started carrying PH and before Alber Elbaz became rookie of the year (2004). The Tondowski, by the way, is a black leather pump that has a sharp knife edge toe, predecessor of (and probably inspiration for) the Gwen...
I have never ever seen anyone else wearing it, but I love them.

Pierre makes me weak in the knees. I was just at his shop in Paris a couple of weeks ago and I put in some orders for the winter collection. I also have the leather/wood sandals that Brian posted. The curved arch on his shoes make them so easy to wear all day!
