I'm desperately in need for some new inspiration!!
My shoe collection really needs a boost, so i wondered what OTHER personal shoe collections might look like.....
like: where do you keep them? (seperate space, closet, own room..)
how large is it? (50, 100, 300, more)
and: do you favour any particular colour in your collection, and if so, why?

Don't forget to post PICS of the collection as well!

it is my eventual dream one day, when i have my own house/apt, to have a huge walk-in closet, with shelves made specially for my shoes. and i want to place them in those clear plastic boxes (to keep the dust out) and put a picture of each shoe on the front of the box.
i have an obsession for shoes and handbags (as you can tell )... i don't know how many shoes i actually own right now. but since my closet is not that large, i always try to keep my shoes in current rotation, so that the ones that i haven't used in a long time, i either give away to my mom, cousins, or sell it on ebay. i would say right now, i probably have around 75 (and i can't stop buying!!! )

as for the color scheme, i don't think i favour any particular color... although i am not AFRAID of color! i have your basic blacks and browns that everyone needs in their wardrobe... but i also have reds, pinks, purples, yellows, blues, etc.... i go through phases. my current phase is METALLIC. i have a metallic pink, pewter, gold, silver, bronze. it's insane.

thanks ladies! although i am SURE that your own shoe collections are just as fabulous... if you don't think so, it's just a matter of organizing them! i think the over-the-closet-door hanging shoe racks are the best, in terms of ease and visualizing what you have that goes best with your outfits.
