"Shoe savings" are the only way I can afford any kind of designer shoes...I have more money on my "shoe savings" than in my savings and checking account combined. Damn am I a shoe freak!

Dont worry..we all are.. and who would want it any other way???

i bought these shoes at zara last week, and i love them! they are extremely comfortable.....normally i dont buy many shoes at zara, but when i do, i do wear them a lot!

In efforts to follow through on my promise to my wife to help her revamp her wardrobe I have been hunting down shoes- here is what I have gotten so far for her- a pair of Gucci, a pair of Dsquared2, a pair of Versace, two pairs of Yves and a pair of Yves boots.

Some of my shoes:

^ vintage slouch boots I bought quite some time ago, I wear these a lot

^ vintage 20's golden dance shoes with golden embroidery and a (fake) diamond clip I picked up in a vintage shop years ago

^ i like these but they are feet killers

^ from Zara, but nice. They look good under dark blue jeans.

^ vintage wedge heel snowboots i got a while back for practically nothing. they are pretty worn down but the flash makes it look worse than it is(i hate flash). They look nice with a skirt, or pants tucked in.

I just looked it up. They say the shoes are sold @ gilrshop.com, but they aren't. The page loads quickly. Click on 'where to buy' right @ the bottom of the page. It all loads quickly. I know some of the older shoes are sold @ factorypeople.com.

I agree with Liberty. That's some collection, Manologirl!

I got my first pair of Manolos, myself. I have no idea what season they're from. Can anyone help me out? I would post a picture, but apparently I'm not computer-saavy enough to do that.

I can't recall the name on the box right now (I think it starts with a V -- "veneto-something" or "veron-something", maybe?), but they're black kid leather pumps with a low-cut, pointy toe and little leather thongs that come from the back of the heel to tie through a t-strap at the front. There are also two little straps that come from just above the ball of the foot (the "big knuckles" of your first toe and pinky toe) to connect at the base of the t-strap. Very strappy. Very yummy.

I got these new off of ebay (I know, I know -- I'm taking a huge risk), but the quality seems so extraordinary that I don't think they can be anything other than authentic. I just wondered if any of you shoe-a-holics out there would recognize the style.

Hi all...Thanks for the nice comments!! I am SO glad I stumbled onto this forum!! I feel like I have found kindred spirits. NONE of my girlfriends get me...they all could care less about shoes or fashion or handbags...they all think I'm crazy.

Lizzyb, I wear a 39...(size 8 1/2).

I will take some more pics and post them tomorrow if you guys want to see some more.

Annabelle, do you still have the ebay auction number? If it's been within 3 months the auction is still viewable and I could take a look and try to identify them for you.
