OMG! Not only are those boots the BOMB, but I had never heard of that designer so I did a search on Ebay and they are expensive. Do you wear them on the street? Not that it is any of my business, but... I would be scared to wear them out of the house...

OMG! You have these??? i am not a fan of Stella because she is too political, but those pumps are pretty. Some one did those a couple of years ago. I would be surprised if they are real wood, but Gucci or some such did those with not some cheap wood, but real mahogany- the wood of boats and Les Pauls (guitar Jimmy Page and Slash play) and they had a beautiful grain. But I love platform wedge pumps...

Aradia-Renee - I'm not sure what type of wood these are made from (but they're quite solid, and have a beautiful grain too), and am afraid my pics don't do it justice, am now curious to find out what it is!

Aradia, those Ann D's are much more expensive on ebay because they sold out so fast and are very popular. Rest assurered that I didn't pay THAT much.
Of course I will wear them out. Can't wait.

Yes Brigadeiro The beaded ones are really beautiful. I think the ones I saw a year or 2 were Gucci ones. Lots of wood has pretty grain. Mahogany is small and tight so good for shoes where as ash is larger and on something small like shoes would have a tiger stripped effect. Maple comes in several patterns. I will try to find some flamey and quilted maple that would be I duno insane or over the top, but that is guitar lingo for I am lusting that guitar. :lol

Here is a picure of a guitar with a pretty quilted maple top. I know probably no one here but me cares about guitars but my point is that this quilted maple in person is very 3 deminsionable and would make beautiful wedge platform pumps.
