Prada F/W 12.13 by Steven Meisel

I used to like purple, not sure anymore....

These colours are now making me nauseous, they are clearly overused in the whole series, seeing it like this you realise how not one single image actually stands out as special. IMO.
There are some campaigns that are like art in themselves and showcase amazing fashion photography, and you want to rip it off the magazine and frame it... Well this is just the opposite. You want to turn over the page, hoping for some eye relief.

All models look bland, creatively uninspired and overwhelmed by those awful clothes and background.

Next!!!

reminds me of that one season's campaign for Miu Miu... you know which one i'm talking about

These seem to be more stand-out online as to being attractive inside a magazine. The colours are lifeless and dull in real, which I'm disappointed about. S/S 2012 was vivid and somehow I did not relate that to Prada or Meisel for that matter. Nonetheless, I could not fault the casting here, I'm thrilled for Anne and Magdalena.

I agree these are really more eye-catching when in print

They certainly look better in print, but still lack the wow factor for me. They don't catch my eye as easily as last season's ads did.

I like the video more than the images, as usual. A game of chess? Wonderful.

The video is so much better than the photos. I had to think of two gods competing each other in a game of chess. And to my mind, Magdalena is nailing it. She looks extraordinary

Yay! The video is out! Finally!
