Louis Vuitton F/W 12.13 by Steven Meisel

The campaign as a whole is gorgeous but those clothes

I could see those bags by dozen on racks in a very cheap outlets...

Mackenzie creeps the hell out of me in the first picture...scary!
Love the bags!

I love it. I think the clothes look great, the Idea is tremendous and its wonderful seeing more than 2/3 girls....A whole train-full of new faces!

Im getting a very Tim Burton vibe from the whole thing, Its the Circular (Willy Wonka) Glasses, the Large (Alice in Wonderland) Hats and the Psychedelic (Dark Shadows) 70's Vibe and Dark (Sweeny Todd) Eyes. LOVE LOVE LOVE

maybe they wanted a greater focus on the outfits in this campaign hence the random models (i personally don't know any of them). if that's the aim then it's definitely achieved. i hope the other shots will have some well known models though.

I like the concept behind the campaign but yes I agree, the clothes screamed hideous since I first saw then on the runway! Good thing is, I don't mind much about them in here, hence Meisel did a good job distracting me from the ugly fashion. It all matches well :)

I like this a lot. I loved the show itself, the presentation and the ideas behind it. The ad reminds me of A Very Long Engagement for some reason. I'm excited to see the other shots.

Oh, I love the concept! My only concern is that they couldn't have chosen an even more lifeless cast. I'm sorry, but it seems as if they're just standing there. From last season's remarkable cast to this? C'mon.

I appreciate the theatricals in a campaign, it is great to feel the magic, and to be able to imagine a world where everybody dresses like that.
And I too believe it is very Prada for Luis Vuitton..

Fascinating to see how Meisel confronted the train theme, contrasted to Mert & Marcus' direction with Eva Herzigova in Fall 2002. Nonetheless, I fail to understand the hype surrounding this one image. It's just a bunch of girls wearing eccentric clothes on a steam train. But I'm interested to see how the campaign unfolds.

I didn't like the clothes in general, the show was really good, i mean, the "mise en scene", the train... everything but the clothes. But this campaign saved the collection!!!

"The witches express", this is great. I would love to see more.

Looks like an editorial for US Vogue. I didn't really like the collection and I feel the same for what I've seen so far.
