Prada Group Closes Miu Miu Mens

...On a different note, Miu Miu has discontinued its men's wear line to focus on strengthening its women's business, whose sales have more than doubled in two years, hitting $297 million in 2007. The spring 2008 men's collection will be the last to be manufactured and sold by the Prada-owned brand.

not a huge loss in my opinion.

The last few collections from Miu Miu for menswear hadn't been the greatest but I still remember FW06 as being my favourite. Sadly, the chance to never be able to improve will remain present as they stop production, which to me will personally be a lost.

Like yourbestfriend said, f/w 06 was really a great collection.

Before that and after that I had never really paid much attention to it. Unfortunately it was always dwarfed by Prada and Miu Miu womens.

It's kind of sad, some of the collections were really great. But it was just a cheapened Prada for the most part.

And I don't want to see the Miu Miu take on Prada F/W 08.

for me, men's Miu Miu was just the women's collection resized to fit the guys.

she has a look of her own
and separate to the older sister prada
