Prada Menswear F/W 2002.03 Milan

Now this is chic. Twenty years later, and I’d pick anything from this collection over the one shown yesterday. You couldn’t pay me to wear anything from that mess Raf and Miuccia made. But this? Yes! Easy clothes with just enough personality to intrigue - that’s what made Prada great back then.

And what a handsome cast, too! Jeeze! Love this era of men’s modeling…LOVE!

Thanks for sharing these! I love how timeless every single look is. You could easily pick any outfit of this collection waltz into the streets and not look like an over-styled, gimmick-horny instagram victim.

^^^ It absolutely is timeless. And it’s deceptively simple. Only on closer inspection and scrutiny, are the finest of tailoring and construction— that’s impeccably, strikingly bespoke and sartorial, revealed.

I snatched up the nylon/wool inside-out blazer and coat. And I still wear them to this day, without them losing a hint of their modern/classic sensibility that is the essence of the best of Prada. Shame this brand of quiet irreverence is replaced by crass, loud, cheapness in 2022.
