I love that Mrs. Prada is still putting hats in the collection! Not much here that blows me away. I really like the last sweater posted, it would be quite lovely layered. The shearling jkt looks like a long version of the one shown at Jil Sander.

for me, nothing really impressive but I do like some of the bright coats. Must admit not a fan of the hats. I just do not find it a flattering shape at all.

Love the tie in post #10 as well as the shirt layered under the swtr with the guy in the wierd glasses. Not a fan of the lthr pants (has Prada ever done leather pants for men before?) That swtr DOES look awesome layered, esp with the tie tucked in. I see a lot of Miu Miu womens f/w 03 influenced here. (specifically the long knit gloves and those tweed pants in post #13 really look like a pant that took me forever to sell because the fit was SO bad)

i don't agree. while i don't like this collection and i was not impressed with the spring collection, she's definitely heading in a different direction this go-round. this collection looks very much similar to the jil sander presentation in many ways. i like that the embellishment trend has entered into menswear with the beading of the hats and shirts. although it's not enough to rescue this collection from being strikingly bland.
