Puffball/egg shaped skirts

^i think that goes only for the short versions, i have a knee-lenght one and it's actually very flattering and even elegant.

that's great, i was thinking more of the short version :flower:

I bought that skirt from Stella for H&M. I think it gives me a beautiful silhouette. It is not unflattering at it does not make my behind look bigger.

those kind of skirts are getting uber huge..
trying to make some cool versions for my clients, something i could wear myself..

in general i find them quite unflattering and hard to run (if need rises) i have issues with garments that restrict movement

reminding me of '80s horrors by Lacroix
i should post some cool examples from the fw0607 collections

I like these skirts, I think that it works on me.

This is more what I would call a 'tulip shape' skirt, I love high waists at the moment:blush:.

great skirt pucci but.. slightly off topic

there must be a tulip-skirt thread floating around

Ups..

I thought it kinda was the same thing..
There was a skirt posted here which had the same shape as mine.

Please free to remove it.:flower:

i dont like em at all , they look like diapers and you pooped in it , i tried one and my guy friends were like ewwww gross. i returned it and that was that. minis and midis skirts are the best

Zara Bubble Skirt

I got an adorable bubble mini skirt from Zara. It's navy blue and it has white polka dots. Too cute:D

I got one from Comptoir de Cotonnieres and am surprised how flattering it is! Wearing it today I got many compliments.

I came out and showed my brother and another guy freind that I was going out with that night, they wouldn't spot luaphing or talking about how terrible and silly it looked, they were teasing me about it for the next few days. I like to try some things that are a little diffrent than what most people wear, they dont understand anything but th emainstream style

As much as I hate to, I'm selling the skirt on eBay now since I can't go out without having those two laughing at me, they said they'd be embaressed walking next to me.
I think this was kinda funny  :D Most guys just don't get anything that isn't mainstream. But my boyfriend, who knows nothing about fashion at all, he loves my egg-shaped Stella-skirt on me. He says I look cute and tiny
That made me wonder if these skirts make you seem smaller? Because then I should get some more :ninja:

Ida, you are so right. My boyfriend is always like "What are you wearing?!?". If it were up to them, we would all be plain janes.

^If it was up to them, we'd be naked. :D

Fortunately, my boyfriend (still) thinks that everything I do and say and wear is cute. Wonder how long that'll last

Most guys know nothing about anything that they didn't see in GQ, and that's really too bad. I don't think that egg shaped skirts are very popular among the GQ-reading crowd..

AH you look lovely. The puff/tulip has been done mostly as ladylike and I hate ladylike. I like when it is a little bit more street like this.

Don't think this has been posted yet - MaxMara, FW05, style.com.
I really, really love this look! The waist is accentuated, loving the bow, the silhouette, the houndstooth. I think I could pull it off very well.

Hot houndstooth! And I hate houndstooth normally. Thanks The_Ida
