Those despicable people are just bigots masquerading behind Christianity. They are a foul disgrace to true Christians and our faith. How dare they!

thanks marlowe. that makes me feel better.
i think the news portrays it as if he were in some pain, but the way his family said it, was best...peaceful and asleep.
such a tragedy . they just showed him as the joker in batman and he does absolutely amazing. so talented and on the verge of super super stardom.

Why do they have to keep showing his body being removed on the news?
Its disgusting what the papz are doing.Taking pictures and making vids of his dead body being removed .
I dont know if Michelle has arrived back the the U.S yet (she was shooting a film in Sweden, and Matilda is with her),but I hope they'll leave them alone and in peace.

This is so sad  I feel terribly for Heath's family and Michelle and Matilda. Rest in Peace -_-:(

God this is so sad, I read this news last night. I thought it was a joke. :(

why oh why do people have to make it even harder for his family/friends? it makes me so sad...and they use religion as an excuse...this doesnt have anything to do with religion...or do they think Heath is in HELL now cos he played a gay character??? god seriously...the world is coming to an end...people are going crazier and crazier

I will always see his face in his daughter's. Hopefully she will grow up knowing she once had a great dad.

i find it very disrespectful that people plan to protest his funeral because of his role in Brokeback Mountain.

let the man rest in peace.

im not very religious, but didnt it cross these peoples minds that God wouldnt be to happy if they disturbed the peaceful place that he is now in ?

i can't believe people at this day and age would do that, if it's true.
it must be some stupid lame joke.

Very, very sad.
I agree with others who criticise the way this was handled by NYPD - they could surely have kept it from the media until his family were notified - It's certainly not like people in NY automatically pay attention to every crime scene they come across.

That he left behind a daughter who bears such a resemblance to him reminds me of Michael Hutchence's death. His comment/belief about feeling he could live on in his child will hopefully be of some comfort to her when she has to grow up without him

the breaking news in ny local station is that, the autopsy revealed it was inconclusive and need 10 more days for further analysis...

Its unbelievable : pictures of Heath 's body being remove are all over the press now,and every photos agencies (ramey,splash..) are selling them.
How sick and disrespectful for the human being he was and his family.

i just searched for pics of Heath on flickr....
i cant believe how many pics there are of 'Scene of Heath Ledger's death'
sad....just sad

there are so many flowers outside.
ann curry on today show, say that we were so touched, which is why we are all so effected..
his quote from NY times was beautiful!!! about his daughter...and living through her.

I think those people must have something mentally wrong with them

Read this on the dailymail.co.uk website

As police began an investigation into the cause of the 28-year-old's untimely death, some of Hollywood's brightest stars including Nicole Kidman and Mel Gibson paid their condolences to the troubled actor's family.

But the most revealing - if ambiguous - comment came from Jack Nicholson.
Hinting he was aware Ledger was battling demons, the Hollywood veteran, who played the Batman's most famous Joker, said in London last night: "I did tell him."
