You can't change people's point of view. ^^

@christion couture
That's my favorite model ever!![]()
Yeah...sometimes I think she is the real brasilian beauty. I mean dark eyes, dark hair tanned, sultry has a booty. I mean I love Gisele but she doesn't reallly represent the exotic land of Brasil.![]()

but that's off topic

God I wish I were an editor. And has anyone noticed that none of the top asian girls are never in vogue or how it seems no one is pulling from the beautiful and ethnically diverse black girls of the US who run the gambit of Halle Berry to Debra Shaw.
And is anyone wondering where Andre is in all of this. He's the editor in cheif can't he pull some strings and put more than one black model in vogue.

That didn't bother me very much but there was one fold-out cover that had one model I can't remember, and Naomi on the fold. They could have easily put them both together!
Anyone else notice how Chanel Iman was on the fold-over part of the cover of Vogue?
And Chanel is one of the least succseful of the bunch..well I think.And your point? Raquel Zimmermann, Jessica Stam, Agyness Deyn and Coco Rocha were all on the fold-over part of Vogue as well. You can only fit so many people on one page.

IMO chanel was only put on that color because she was the token black model. it's sad that people don't appreciate models of all ethnicities, but i think extending affirmitive action to fashion magazines is ridiculous.

btw, why there is a thread called Top African and Black Models? ...

The whole point of the thread was to bring light to black models nothing more....what your saying doesn't make sense, it was not made to be malicious how do you propose we celebrate models of any certain race?(its a sad fact but race still matters) Its like saying well its sexist when theres a thread about "what to do about pms" or its racist when there a thread on "Russian models"..the whole point is to highlight a certain aspect of fashion its not meant to make a place where certain people aren't welcome...really its not that serious. All some of the posters here are asking is that vogue show a more diverse look at women and fashion and based on what you said they should do so because there not called Vogue: The Fair Skinned editionbtw, why there is a thread called Top African and Black Models? exclusively for pictures of black models, why only black ones?
isn't that discriminative?
Isn't that being racist?
Isn't that segregative?
THAT'S WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND
