6/10 Interesting clothes and getting better with each recent collection. Reminiscent of Dior homme, but I like where they are going more than the commercialized recent Dior collections.
4/10 straightforward, nicely cut american classic sportswear, nothing innovative or remotely engaging to watch, a bit like Ralph Lauren, Kenneth Cole, Joseph Abbound, Calvin Klein menswear...just not my cup of tea
9/10 for making clothes that are light and romantic, for bringing women effortless elegance. for using the ethnic influences without seeming exploitive, for not advertising and trying to keep the prices lower in general. I am reserving 1 point because I am not always happy with the menswear, but that's Ok .

BTW, is it Ok that we are repeating designers? I guess it is, because usually a different person responds underneath.
Never like his collections, and his couture line is no exception, don't like his ArmaniExchange store... though I do like how he is an obsessive pefectionist in his work (according to Harpers Bazaar)...
I love some of his designs, both from YSL and Lanvin... what you can find on the salesfloor (Lanvin) never really excites me though, it´s too raw-edged, too deconstructed and thus, a little predictable in the way his clothes are made... I really miss the refinement in terms of construction, sometimes... YSL might have been a little better.
(Regarding Hamish Morrow)
Raw, edgy. Would potentially look good on women in their early twenties/late teens. Some pieces from s/s 2002 come off as frumpy.
