In the sea of washed-out, paler than pale pastels, two bold colors stuck out. One was red, in all it's fire-engine, lipstick glory. From makeup, to dresses, coats and shoes, everything was rouged to perfection.

I am not a fan of red.... I always thought I looked ridiculous in a red top, because it's such an intense and dramatic eye catching color, which is something I feel uncomfortable about.. If that makes any sense...

I'll stick to black.....

Hurray, love everything you posted! I love red, it really makes me look healthy and idk. Suits me well It's so rare that I find red pieces that I like.. I'm so happy that if it's gonna be a trend it'll be much easier to find great looking pieces

Spike, great thread! I think that mustard yellow was also a really strong color used in several shows for S/S 06 besides red and green. I'm so glad: I don't care much for all the washed out neutrals (just not my style)!

yay!! I love red..especially crimson red or lipstick red. I like wearing outfits of neutrel colors and wearing bright red shoes for example as splash of color.

I love this so much, wonderful for spring/summer as often its thought off as a autumn/winter colour-at least by me. The Roland Mouret dress is interesting with the use of red with pink. I love the Fendi details and the Lanvin shoes. My red patent bag always makes me feel cheerful.

red is not the most evident trend out there but somehow it belongs to summer's hits as an 'accent'..
