Believe it or not Maybe her parents didn't know how to spell Ariel so they were like "Ariel... R-E-L?"

She reminds me of Rose Cordero, I'm liking her so far!

Everyone has their own opinion but this to me sounds pretty far fetched too. I do think the pronunciation of he name is similar to the french word for "real"...who knows maybe she has creole heritage (comme le Knowles)
