Ribbed Tights...

I liked tights, but avoid ribbed one's because i think they make me look like a big cow. I think most ribbed tights do, because you can see where they stretch to become larger..where opaque masks it more.

Ribbed tights remind me of the time when I was five and in kindergarten!

I think they have to be very,very sheer fabric. If it's thicker it doesn't look that good.

^I agree, the thick wool ones look like they don't have "stretch"...they look sort of baggy on the model, especially behind the knees. I think red ribbed tights would look nice.

I have a black pair myself, and it's a nice break from the ubiquitous leggings without sacrificing warmth

I'm not saying this because I don't like MKA, but I think the "ribs" or "lines" (language barrier...) are too big. They shouldn't show so prominently.

i think it's becuase they are too sheer...
more opaque ones are usually more flattering....

I wear wool ribbed tights in grey, black or brown. I find thick, flat, wide ribs the best (Falke make some nice ones) and certainly don't find them unflattering at all.

I wore black ribbed tights today because it's freezing outside. I have pretty tick ones, I do like wearing them with black boots..
