sergio, the jacket is a lovely color grey, but my first impression is that is lost within your group of layers. the colors dont quite jive and the triple group of too many hemlines seems a bit distracting. the jacket is such a statement that it might be better as the focal point and whats under it is more subdued. i hope you dont mind my commentary but the grey of that jacket is one of the best examples of it i've seen so far.

Beautiful jacket, sergio! The color is fantastic and really suggests the texture and feel of the leather.

I get luckyme's point about the distraction of the other layers, and I agree the jacket is strong enough to stand on its own. However, it's nice to see a different styling approach, and I like this one because the layers look like a sculpture taking shape; not completely formed or finished, but a form emerging. And I am a big fan of multiple shades of grey.

sergio :  :crush:
The grey colour is beautiful and looks great on you. Hope to see more photos of you wearing it in the WAYWT thread!

Thank you all so much! It is Dust from S/S 09.

I got this jacket too and wore it today:

Ooo lalala Sergio, you are one hot babe! :brows:
Congrats on getting both jackets...I would be drowning in leather heaven by now if I were you!

indeed.

i actually quite enjoy the layering going on in the first look. really beautiful play on volume.

Inaya that hat is beyond awesome:heart:

and those jackets are superb too Sergio.

Guys I just received my RO leather jacket!!! but while it is so awesome and fits so wonderfully, there are two tiny spots of peeling! Those of you who have owned RO leather jackets for a while, does this happen and is it pretty common with wear? Especially the areas where you would wear shoulder bags over? The two spots are really tiny, but this has me worried as it would only get worse. Since the leather is really buttery soft, if this will happen sooner or later I guess I'd feel better...? Ack!!

congrats sergio and traumerei,
traumerei, this is TOTALLY normal. in fact you should not worry about it at all as this is one of the best aspects of a RO leather jacket :)

RO leather jackets are supposed to live with you, not be kept in mint condition, so don't worry ;)

inside of ro nyc store this week.
with me shopping...
i am thinking about buying a certain pair of exotic boots....;)

I know some of the RO leathers have distressing and the blistered look, but the leather on my jacket is a lot smoother, that's why the tiny peeling stands out. It's not a huge deal, and I definitely want to keep it, but I just dont' want the peeling to get worse over time. Btw, mine is the silky lamb biker from the main collection this year. I took some pics of the peeling i'm referring to. Again, not a big deal, but it's a major purchase for me I just wanted to hear what you guys think. :)
