tang, Super. the back is awesome and i'm a huge fan of the angled zipper high collar. not sure why you didnt think the pictures turned out good because i have no complaints!

All i see is washed lambskin, not sure I am that keen on it... I guess I am biased.

I got a Balenciaga leather jacket in lambskin and even though I adore it it is so much more fragile than my Rick Owens which has been everywhere with me.

Tangerine, which style is your RO jacket?

pucci_mama I have the mens SS lookbook I could take a picture of the look if you describe the jacket. The book is quite big so I dont think it would fit on my scanner. Thats unless it has already been posted. Let me know if i can be of help

I could be wrong but I didn't see any blister lamb for women this season. I've seen leather jackets this s/s with different leather patches and among those there are some blistered leather, but haven't seen any made completely with blistered lamb...

The list of leather treatments for SS09 that I have goes like this:

LB: unwashed calf
LM: metallic calf
LS: silky lambskin
LC: washed lambskin
LF: fading lambskin

There was a blistered lamb for FW but apparently not for SS.

pucci_mama, I don't know the official name of the style; I refer to it as the "nylon cape short jacket." There is also a trenchcoat length version/similarly-styled jacket (has the cape in back, diagonal zip high collar, and sleeve pockets, although the sleeve pockets are nylon, not leather.)

i saw the one (fade-high collar) in 946 on oki-ni for 2000€ ....

Guess I'm late to the party but Tang that jacket looks wonderful on you, love the diagonal zippers!

Does anyone have problems with RO leather in light colours?
I ordered a RO jacket from yoox with light gray leather sleeves but it arrived smudged. I tried to rub out the smudge using a bit of water but it made the marks worse. Although the water did eventually dry up and there were no water marks left, I decided to send the jacket back because the light gray leather is just so fragile and I think I would have a heart attack every time I see a smudge on it
