Ah, Lucky, that dress will be perfect for summer. Love the color too. Would like to see a modelling pic.

beautiful dress, luckyme! that is a great color, indeed.
PrincessImp., when is yours arriving? :innocent:

Ha, Tang, unfortunately there are no plans to assimilate this wonderful piece into my wardrobe currently..so I plan to live vicariously through lucky for now! :woot::flower:

And yes, I echo the request for a modelling pic, if lucky doesn't mind....

Fabulous, lucky! I also remember seeing that dress on Joan Shepp, and thinking it is such a great staple. Great for layering, as well as on its own.....
I would love to see modeling pics. too.
How will you have it hemmed? I always wonder with RO extra long pieces.... is it better to cut it and leave the hem unfinished, or add a finished hem?

well :stuart:..........the problem with the dress, once on, it looked like a moomoo. i would have to ruin the rough edged hem by 10" 's and the front slit was sitting well below my knee. you seriously have to be at least 5'10" to pull this dress off.

other than that....the color and fabric were perfect.

if someone on this board can actually pull this dress off, it will be worth the modeling picture.

(l'inde)

This is arriving soon :D

I have a feeling I will be living in it this summer :ninja: Rick should make one with sunscreen protection :p

mona13- a couple months ago, you gave me a recommendation that i get a size 38 and not a 40 in his biker jacket...

i finally got it and the sizing is just perfect! thanks to you!!! and i love, love, love the jacket!:heart:

^^ I'm so glad to help, iheart! And even more so that you found your jacket. Pls post pics.

Congrats, steph. I love the mesh jackets... they have the great fit of the leather jackets, but lighter-weight for summer.

Did you guy saw this vest on NAP...It was sold out on wednesday and it's now back on stock...its almost $12.000.....still

It's amazing!....If only I had that much $$$$ to blow on a vest.

Sorry to hear this didn't work for you, that's a lovely color. I have to say, I'm tempted...if only because of the length :p...though the moomoo aspect is holding me back.

I took a pic today on my (crappy) webcam of my Rick Owens nun hat for those of you who asked :blush:

lovely r*! ^_^ it's got a sort of demented sound of music feel ;)

So I'm thinking about getting the A/W 09 boots (the one with so much volume that it hurts...in a good way :P). Do guys think it will work in real life? (I was hesitated to get the A/W08 boots for the same reason and really hate myself after it's sold out >.<)

^ from the men's or women's collection? I'm not sure which ones exactly you mean.

either way, most all of Rick's stuff is functional off the runway imo. :flower:

Oh, i'm talking about the women's collection. The one that comes all the way over the knee.

My FW jacket arrived today:

Its black blistered leather.
I must say the fit is so good! The best of my jackets!
I personally do not think it looks too feminine even though it is from the womens line, I would like your opinions also though.

^Amazing! The fit looks just fine on you. Congrats!

not feminine at all on you, in fact, just the opposite...quite handsome and a perfect fit.

blistered leather is the bomb...i found the skirt in this texture on sale.
