RIP Model Ruslana Korshunova

Anybody knows how many signatures they need to reopen the case?

Do her mother and brother support the petition? I can't help but think how all this talk of mafia and conspiracy theories is affecting them, her real family.

Her mother's name is on the first page of the petition, i think.

I think was like for the police, oh she doesnt belong to this country, she´s just a russian person, so we dont care about this.

plus a model! and people seem to have lots of opinions on models and their lifestyles...
i really think the case was closed to fast.

limit ? oh i didn't knew that
how many is the limit ?
Lol, I dont know.
Bt they need as many as they need to open the case, is not infinite, if that was like that the case would never be open lol!

Awww she was my favorite model. Such a photogenic beauty. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

Looking back on her old photos lends some truth to Romeo's words:

Death, that hath suck'd the honey of thy breath,
Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty:
Thou art not conquer'd; beauty's ensign yet
Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks,
And death's pale flag is not advanced there.
... Why art thou yet so fair? shall I believe
That unsubstantial death is amorous,
And that the lean abhorred monster keeps
Thee here in dark to be his paramour?

^No way. I would think the police would take a case like this very seriously. Her status in the country and her ethnic background don't matter. A young, beautiful model's tragic death is not something they'd take lightly, as superficial as that sounds

Let's just hope it gets investigated more. There's not much to work with though. The whole scene is so vague :(
I'm not trying to belittle the petition or its cause, but do you know how many people commit suicide in New York a year? The fact that her suicide was even on TV/in the news is kind of surprising, and probably due to the fact that as a model she is a semi-public person. Everyone wants the suicide of someone close investigated extra-thoroughly, but the reality is there's too many of them and the police don't like spending the time and money required to rule out every little piece of evidence that may point to something other than suicide.

I suppose most cases involve suicide notes that clear things up.
