RIP Model Ruslana Korshunova

^yes, exacly.
I just checked and they have almost 2360 signatures.
they could at least say how many they need bc we will never know how much time will take to reopen the case.
if they will need 10,000 or more will take years.

The police probably won't reopen the case, even with 10,000 signatures, unless they find substantial evidence to overrule the suicide theory. If the signatories are serious they should start raising money and hire a private detective.

Also, the statistic is 2/3 of those who commit suicide do not leave notes. Notes are fairly uncommon.

i love this saying

"I have trouble accepting the fact that ur gone so i wont.. it will be just like we went for a while without seeing each other. but i can understand why god would have wanted u close to him.. cos u truly were an angel on earth"

so unfair...beautiful angel, beautiful girl. makes me feel like its the end of the world.

I was looking for a dress the other day online and was looking through Nordstrom
and......there she was....Ruslana...so beautiful. I think of her all the time, even though
I never met the girl....I did lose someone close to me because of suicide and it was really painful....just really...devastaing. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
Rest in peace sweetheart

For some reason I keep being haunted by Ruslana's tragic death. There was definitely something about her, she was not only beautiful, she had something beyond beauty. I keep thinking also to what she could have become as a model. I can't stand people who always feel they have to say something about her height. Karl Lagerfeld once pointed this out saying that if the face is extraordinary the height really does not matter at all. I was quite astonished but he's right. Ruslana was a dream on earth, elusive, mysterious and slightly exotic. There always seemed to be a bit of sadness in her eyes and that's what touched me the most about her. Too young, too soon...

Yes gardenpea, exactly. I miss her so much. I think she was destined to be something more special than we remember her now. As I peruse a magazine, invariably I think - No not this model! Ruslana would have been perfect for this campaign. Then I remember. She's gone & it breaks my heart.

karl said that? that is awesome, do you happen to remember what article??

There is a new article in Glamour UK, related to her death, talking about the perils of being a model and how to friends she seemed like the last person to commit suicide.... sad story. I could post it if anyone wants it. :(

Is this Ruslana in the latest JCrew catalog?

it's so sad...it's like "the sleeping beauty" tale but in a more dramatic way..she was "kissed" by prince of death...:(

Her story just breaks my heart so much.
