Her stylist has amazing style.

Bu this could be said about most of hollywood actresses or celebrities non ? When an actress becomes a fashion darling it's usually thanks to her stylist. Ryan Hastings is the best stylist in the business at the moment IMO. Yet it's his collaboration with Rooney that makes her redcarpet style so special because she, herself, has impeccable tastes. When he worked with Carey Mulligan for example it was never that exciting, he also seems to have lost the sparkle in his collaboration with Mia Wasikowska ( I don't know if he's still styling her though.) . When you see Rooney on the red carpet and when you see her candids you can tell that it's the same woman. She's not just a clothes horse, who only wears what she's told to wear. She's as minimal, monochromatic and precious in her everyday life.

I honestly thought she was the best dressed of the night , well maybe behind Alicia Vikander. It's such a gorgeous dress and the whole look is perfect for the SAGs. It's not the GG and certainly not the Oscars. You want to make a statement because it's an award show (job done with the cape and the severity of her look I reckon) but there's no point going all the way.
That's why I just love how minimal she looked, the very natural makeup and almost no jewelry. So refreshing compared to everybody else looking ridiculously OTT. Oh and her samurai ponytails are seriously fantastic. She looks stunning in the new pictures you've posted Jexxica , thanks . It's cool to see her so friendly with other actresses because she does come off as a bit cold or aloof sometimes

I hope she wears Valentino to the Oscars too. She would look incredible in this dress from their latest couture collection.
