Ryan Gosling

It's a film that doesn't exist....

Also Walt Disney didn't have the best reputation. It'd be too awkward to try and separate the fact from fiction.
Isn't that the point of acting? I don't see Kevin Bacon as a paedophile after I saw The Woodsman or Andrew Garfield a murderer after Boy A. Or even better, Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos because she was real.

I didn't mean in terms of acting, I mean in terms of the Walt Disney legacy. There are lots of allegations about his personal opinions - quite nasty allegations that are too well known to the public to ignore, yet no one really knows if they are true or not. I don't doubt that Ryan would handle the roll brilliantly given a half decent script. If it was a simple story about the creator of Micky Mouse that would be fine, and the Ryan connection makes sense but I don't see how they could make a biopic about Walt Disney, a man with a tarred personal life and who was frozen when he died... it's hardly a fairytale. It's just...weird to speculate.

^ I think it would be a great story to narrate in film, and i'd love to see ryan in it, but it's never going to happen cause there's not a chance in hell Disney would allow it.

I think someone did a great work. Why you are so serious, guys? The poster looks great I think. Very conceptual. And I saw a lot of posters around Internet which were great but fake. Its just fans' fantasies. Calm down.

^ LOL. No, guys, please don't watch that video. It's the same thing we've been talking about on this thread. The Walt project is bogus. Plus, the woman's awful accent made it impossible to understand a word she said.

Ahahaha Lola you've just made my day I was so happy to see some new pictures of my dear Ryan but never expected that.
Reminds me of those broken nose candids from Blue Valentine. I'm really excited for this project just hope he won't get roughed up too much.

i thought he was just a bit bloody, but his eyes look really disgusting once you open the pics

the wardrobe is nice though

he's starting to rub me off the wrong way. probably due to overexposure (despite of the fact there are few pics in the last couple of months) and the fact i'm getting "carefully constructed image" vibe. either way, he's put on hold in my books.

^I think it's because of the whole Eva Mendes relationship and her people's leaks to the tabloids. I still love him I just ignore the gossip stuff and admire his style, body, talent etc.

Excuse me while I step on my soapbox for a sec...
I've been a fan of Ryan's for a very long time, but even I was put off by the image of " utterly cool, male perfection" that seemed to come out of nowhere during the last two years. I wondered how it began and how much of it was of Ryan's own design.
But then I watch an interview of Ryan's or something and then I realize that he's pretty much the same person he's always been: somewhat awkward, sharpely intelligent with a dry sense of humour. Yeah, his fashion choices have gotten better over the years, but Ryan is still Ryan.
It's just that the media finally caught up and suddenly he was everywhere.
I was glad that he was leaving Hollywood to go work halfway around the world. But it looks like he can't even get privacy that way. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

^Thanks for that!:flower:

What's up with his style lately? Is he going through a punk/grunge phase or something?

not a fan:yuk:
