Lee at Fashist seems to know who the new Chanel girl is and he can't give any names but this is what he has to say about the new Chanel girl:

Not Irina, not Raquel, not Daria. I'm taking any and all guesses. It's really an amazing chance for this girl.

It is not Raquel. It's also not Lily Allen (at least not for the main Chanel RTW line). The Jessica Miller and Omahyra guesses are soooo way off. It is a big A-list girl who was on the verge of breaking through to supermodeldom. This will be her ticket.

She's not a new girl, but definitely someone unexpected for Chanel. Can't really say anymore but it should be a great campaign.

I wish he'd just say it..now we can keep guessing

Well, he said that the girl has already been guessed in the thread (So it's not Snejana because no one has guessed her). My bet is on Agyness, Amanda Moore, Marina, or Solange (But not likely, because Solange already did Chanel before).

This are all the posssible girls for Chanel:
1. Marina (although she didn't walk Chanel SS07)
2. Solange (but she already had a Chanel campaign and didn't walk SS07 show)
3. Amanda (I think it's her)
4. Freja (she's A list and was on the verge of breaking through with Balenciaga and Jil Sander campaigns, but had no big campaigns for FW0607, besides she did Chanel SS07 and walked the runway right after Daria..could be her too)
5. Iekeliene (she's not really A-list, but she can be now. She did do Chanel SS07 and it would indeed be surprising is she got the campaign but don't think it's her)

I really hope that it is going to be Amanda who gets Chanel, out of the options which everyone has mentioned. But it is going to feel so weird at first not seeing Daria in the campaign.

Solange, Elise, Bette, Lily D, Anja, Snejana, Behati, Marina Perez, Amanda, Iekeline, Hilary Rhoda, Agyness, Bruna T, Freja.

He says that "someone's mentioned her", and these are the ones mentioned before he said that. He said someone on the verge of breaking through to supermodeldom...well, of these I would guess Anja, Snejana, Freja, Hilary, Iekeliene or possibly Agyness, but it would be cool with Amanda

Actually, sleuthing, you can see that somewhere between November 9, 2006 at 08:55:23 PM and November 10, 2006 at 10:23:46 PM
Lee changed his mind, from that the model had not been mentioned to that she had been mentioned. So the new Chanel model according to Lee was mentioned inbetween there. Let's see now

That narrows it down to:

Behati
Amanda Moore
Marina Perez
Iekeliene
Freja
Solange
Bruna

Among these, Iekeline, Bruna and Behati should be considered new I guess. That leaves Marina, Solange, Freja and Amanda.

EDIT: Just now, he's mentioned that this model is among the first 20 at the Chanel show and is listed at models.com.

That leaves: Freja.

Hmm, maybe I did something wrong here, I don't know, but it seems a pretty good choice to me
