Heyyy....I like Mario Testino and not only because I'm peruvian as well *proud* but he's a great photographer and has done some unforgetable campaigns ^_^ I'm excited to see the campaing or any he does ;) But anywhooo you're entitle to your own oppinion :flower:

Can't wait to see Raquel this season...should be beautiful B)

Exactly, everyone's entitled to have a different opinion.

I'm not expressing my personal opinion about Testino, but all artists and photographers can be good and then turn boring or bad. That doesn't mean the person would have been completely talentless, he or she is just not good anymore. But this is no place to start discussing about Testino, he has his own thread.

I sort of like Roitfeld's daughter in the ads...she's very beautiful and fresh, albeit an it girl. I never thought I'd be saying this.

I like the new boy for ck :flower:

I really hope Nick Snider gets something- he's such a cutie!

Julia Restoin Roitefeld is very beautiful, but I would rather see a celebrity than someone who does nothing of substance for a living :innocent:

Hehe, by that argument we'd have physicians doing some part time ad work;)

Joining the list of rock star offspring—Liv Tyler, Lizzy Jagger, Theodora Richards—is Daisy Lowe. The Brit It girl has appeared in W, i-D, Pop and British Vogue, while her campaign resume reads H&M, French Connection and Agent Provocateur. Daddy and stepmum—aka Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani—must be so proud.

Do you think that means Spring 2007 campaigns?

In keeping with the rock star offspring theme, Down Under wonder April Rose is the daughter of InXS rocker, Kirk Pengilly. After getting her parents to agree to meet with agencies, the Sydneysider appeared in Pavement and Australian Marie Claire. April is now in New York, where she was optioned for Ralph Lauren's Rugby campaign within her first two weeks. A Rose by any other famous name...

I guess I worded that wrong... people who don't do anything but go to parties for al living shouldn't be doing ads. Models model for a living, actors act and are in the spotlight, same with musicians and athletes. Socialites need to keep spending their parents' money and stay OUT of magazines. B)

from WWD:
Scarlett Johansson, who appeared in a Louis Vuitton campaign in 2004, is doing an encore, WWD has learned. There's speculation that the actress recently posed for the Vuitton spots in its forthcoming spring 2007 advertising.

A quick update from NAM, which tells Modelresource two of their top models are in London right now shooting Spring/Summer '07.

Andrew Stetson, who is currently all over Calvin Klein Euphoria's ads is in the U.K. doing GURU Clothing's print/TV/catalogue, while Milan Krouzil was booked for Italian label ETRO's new print campaign.

I love Scarlett, she is one of my favorite actresses but I do not want to see her in the LV campaign. I really liked F/W 06 and hoped they would be sticking with the models, what a shame. It could be worse, I guess, wasn't Madonna rumored to be getting that campaign?

Hehe, I think you're right, but Julia's ad looks pretty good ;)

^ no but then again, I can't really picture anybody for LV's spring collection

Hye Rim Park for Bergdof Goodman
[not sure if you call this an ad though...or if its summer, but she's shooting in Texas now anyway...]

^ oh no LV goes back to celebs...too bad

Now we have two rumors from rathare reputable sources; Madonna according to vogue.co.uk and Scarlett according to wwd. Instead of making a judgement about which one is more likely...I have added both to the initial list and everyone can see for themselves who's eventually right about this one B)
